Sleepy Schnauzer	Can't Post

Hello all! I am new to this forum. I have a new 10 week old mini schnauzer(had him for about two days). He seems to want to sleep alot. He took about three naps today for an hour or so. Is this normal behavior for a puppy?

I think its normal for a puppy to sleep that much. Milo, my almost 3 year old chocolate lab slept about 12 hours a day when he was a puppy. He would play about an hour and sleep an hour after that. Sometimes he would sleep for more than an hour depending how tired he was.

Hi !

Its normal that a puppy is sleeping a lot. They are exactly just like a little baby ... always sleeps and as they grow, the will start to sleep less.

My furkid, yippi, an 1 year old male M schnauzer, was slept a lot on his puppyhood, appr half of a day Smile
