Nowadays, going out without bringing money etc is js as dangerous. For e.g. 1 lady was jogging in my neighborhood when a couple of guys attempted to rob her but when they found she had nothing, they stripped her n js left her there in the park!! Another lady only had RM8 in her wallet, so the robbers whacked her on the head with their crash helmets. They won't snatch the dog but they'll throw stones at it to injure it. So i can understand why melwongsj would be afraid to walk her dog alone. I also wait for my husband to walk our dog together, if he work late, no choice i js play fetch with her at our car porch till she tired from all the exercise.

So, girls, js be careful if u walk ur dog alone. It's a crazy world out there. Be safe!

wibbly..

wow ! this world is crazy.. stripped her? haih ! whacked her? totally insane..

if me i also afraid to take Molly to walk walk.. i tink better stay at home and play with her enof..

its good u hav a husband to protect u.. if not.. dangerous also.

vino's rite.. better take a dobe or a German shepherd out if alone..

haha.. i really hope so. I have not started bringing my mini monsters there yet as I have got transportation problem. I can't depend on my parents all the time as they are always busy and I am still on my way to getting my driving license. So I guess I will be starting later after I get my driving license.

Re: [melwongsj] Running Away From Home [In reply to] Can't Post

Just to add a little advice. If you want to keep your dog indoor and she chews stuff, buy Bitter Apple spray or white vinegar and spray it on the wires, furniture, anything that you do not want them to chew. Mine will stay away from anything that I'd spray with Bitter Apple.

As for poo and pee, try putting a litter box at a place in the house that you choose, put some newspapers in it. To get her started, when she poo outside, take some newspaper, take it in and put it in the litterbox. Let her check the box out and smell for a while. For pee, just let a piece or two newspaper soak on the pee outside and transfer to the litter box for her to smell and get the idea. It takes time but it works. Mine will use a litter box when at home and will go outside when we do go out for walks. Best of both worlds!
