flyball :
Flyball is a relay race with 2 teams total of 8 dogs, 4 dogs on each team. The course set up will be consist of :
The first dog jumps the hurdles and steps on the spring loaded box that shoots a tennis ball out. The dog catches it and runs back over the 4 hurdles. When the first dog crosses the starting line the next dog goes. The first team to have all 4 dogs run without errors wins the heat. Tournaments are usually organized in either a double elimination or round robin format. Double elimination is usually the best of 3 or best of 5. Round robin is usually best 3 out of 5. Each team receives a point for each heat won. The first team to win the majority of heats in the race gains a point for that race as well. The hurdle heights are dependent on the height of the dogs in the team - 4" below the shoulder height of the shortest dog. The minimum height is 8"; maximum height is 16".

Yeah amanda, puppy.com have the flyball equipment. Few people have already enrolled for it but Amber will be joining it after this first batch finish first.
Yah...yah...you can see in the home page, they advertise about it too. There are two, a Beagle & a mixed breed I think...But they were not natural at catching the balls but last Sunday the mixed breed dog improved a bit. Amber was the only who was natural. Withing the ten minutes of the try out, she already now what to do. Step on the paddle & then the ball comes flying across & she catches it. That's why wana enroll her for flyball since she's very good at it...Anyway, it's not that hard to learn.
Yes it is but Amber is not a fast runner or the best leaper/jumper & she's got low stamina. She can only do it once or twice depends on the weather & her mood for flyball. Pacco's the same as the other two dogs, didn't get it the part when the ball flies across the box. tO THEM IT'S LIKE, "durrrrr.....now what?" But a soon Amber stepped on the paddle & saw the ball come flying out, she just caught it. For some dogs, it'll take some time. It'll be harder for those who have no drive for balls too...
dont worry no spammin hmmm... that day i was gazin thru the tv & kinda saw pacco in a chinese doggie game show, its jz a glimpse of pacco but jz wonderin whether its really her???
in the chinese tv game show, they showed a short movie clip to the contestant for abt 10secs, & i thought i saw pacco with her red keys jumpin over a barricade & runnin off.
