Tks. No, the vet only said to massage the anus area when i bath the dog (once a week), that may help to remove any blockage. How do i empty the glands?
Emptying anal glands should only be done by the vet. If you don't know how to do it or not experienced, you may ruse too much strength and rupture the anal glands and that is big trouble. Look for a vet that knows how to do it and is willing to do it.
Sometimes, chasing its tail is also a sign of boredom or non-stimulation. Get your dog more toys but if it is not the case, call a vet tp have the anal glands expressed! potter
