Dear all furkids lovers,

I am here today to get more advises as I've lost my Yorkshire Terrier around 20 Jan 2006 in Greenfield Apartment, Bkt Jalil. Just like the rest we've tried many ways to get her back as we sent posters to all the units and stick posters outside of the lift, rewards to the cleaner and the guards and etc..... just for the sake of if anyone in the Apartment seen her will return her.

By GOD's views, someone called on 9 March and give information of another man who has seem with my Yorkie. We manage to found him and he told me everything about the person who took my Yorkie

. They are staying only 2 flrs from us! With all the valid infos like photos, house number, car number, we went up and ask these ppl directly. We turn back because of being yelled, screamed and scolded like we accused them.

At that moment, I truly doubt of the informer. Then, the informer ask me out and showed me the pics of my Lovely Britney. It is her! The lady is his exGF. He said he did tried and presuade her to return to us but the whole family refused..After 2 weeks of separation, one day he saw her still holding on with my Yorkie

FYI...due to all the unnecessary arguments, we have made police report. We are waiting for the good news and I'm buzzle on why do they still insist not to give her back to us!

Any good advises on what should we do next?

Hi! You did the very right thing reporting to the police. I am feeling curious. When you went to the person who took your doggie, did they actually show you their Yorkie so that to prove it's not yours? If they were even afraid to show it to you before shouting back at you, than the chance to suspect them is even higher. Most importantly, does your Yorkie has microchip in it? That's the best eveidence to identify right?!! I hope the police arrives soon before they get the chance to smuggle him/her away so that you guys can't even identify your loving pup/dog. I wish you all the best.

Is your yorkie microchip? if yes, all you can do is show the proof to the person you suspect took your dog then ask them to microchip their sp called dog to end all the accussed...if they refuse u can ask the law enforcement for further action....

Thanks... and answer to your questions as below:

When you went to the person who took your doggie, did they actually show you their Yorkie so that to prove it's not yours? Of course not, They open a bit of the door then later only reopen and said no such thing and "we don't like dogs!" and continue shouting and yelling.

Most importantly, does your Yorkie has microchip in it? Yes, the only thing we missed is that the vet forgot to scan her chip no. Otherwise....

I'm away for a whole week... I ask for all puppies lover to help me should you found anyone who knows them from B-10-1, Greenfield Apartment, Bkt Jalil Pls ask them to return her to me. Catherine is working at Pantai Hospital in the Lab. She is driving a black Kenari 9716.

Understand they have show to many many friends and relatives and I truly hopes some of them is the member of puppy.com and seen her to help us...

I know she is cute but she is our love. Pls.....help...

I'm feeling jes as worried as you are, knowing the dog is right there and yet can't get it back. What happened to the police? Haven't they come yet? You musn't let the person who took your dog know that you do not have the microchip number, or else... they will be more confident you didn't have enough to prove. But they said they didn't like dogs, and do not have a dog? I think this is the best point if the police ever found a dog in it and it's a Yorkie,... your chance to take it back is big. And of course, as long as your dog has Microchip in it, I'm sure there will be record somewhere of the microchip no. right? Try to look it out! I really really wish you all the best and usually, at these stage, I will have lost my temper and do everything to FORCE them to return the dog. WHERE'S YOUR POLICE???

Every microchip the vet inject has it own reference number and the vet must have the number..go back to the vet and request for the number...

hope this help...

you have to push the police abit in this case to make it work and they will do their stuff but u have to sure that your dog is with them.....

Yes Nicky is right that every vet would have a reference number. When I microchiped my dog, the vet gave me a round silver color coin, size about 20 cents coin, with numbers on it. And this coin was inside a plastic pouch and stabled on my dog's vacination card.

This thing happen also to my friend dog..hers is a chi hua hua. (But this was in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah)My friend lost her dog, then this person who probably found it refused to give it back..in fact they lied over and over again about having a dog.

then my friend go the the house call her dog and it ran to her..the person (who took it) cried..but she has no regret..keep wanting the dog back..my friend was too angry..so she took her dog home without saying anything to the thief.

We have the Microchip Number with cert. Just that Police need to see the dog only can act. Anyway, I'm going there and rush them up a bit as we have more and more witneses have seen this family with my love.. Britney

Thief are thief no matter what, I'm sorry it happen to you. The thief that took my friends' chi hua hua also try to hide the dog, but the dog bark and it just so happen my other collegue is living next to the thief (she's the one who told my friend about her dog whereabout). Don't give up, ask the neigbours, the thief will make mistake, someone must have heard and see your dog, bring pictures to show them. I hope you get your dog back.

I have alerted all my neighbour surrounding that Greenfield Apartment Bkt Jalil. Now that I have alerted them that we knows about this, they have been so much careful already and unlikely will bring my Britney back to our Apartment

If anyone.... knows ppl who live in B-10-1, Greenfield Apartment, please advise them that Bad luck

I understand that the informer actually shows you the picture where your neighbor actually be with your dog. Do you have a copy of the same?

If so, bring it to the attention to the police officer incharge of your matter, ie the investigating officver ("IO"). There is no need for the police to actually see the dog before they can act. But as the dog is kept in the apartment, they might needs a search warrant and normally, it involve some paper works and the police will be slow to act.

Alternatively, I suggest that you bring along the photo to the neighbor and show him that you have proof that he has taken your dog. Although all of us treat our dogs as part of our family, legally speaking they are your "Property". In the circumstances, threaten that barger that you will take legal action, that is under tort of conversation that he has taken your property without your permission. Also inmform him that you have made a police report but you are willing to withdraw the same if he returns you the dog. Try to act fast as delay do you and your dog nothing good.

and even the witnes can't believe that these people are so stuborn

Yea...we have the pics but the Police seems to be lazy to help and now ask the VET to write a letter in first before inviting them for the investigation

Anyway, these people are not leaving in good life now as recently my neigbour saw the Catherine run down like a crazy Crazy

. By the time they manage to get to me she already left in her car.

I will contact the police and try and force them to help me into this

Now, is the time which I will hope that I have police officer in my family.

Anyone have any ideas why people became wild n crazy after get hold of others dog?

now.. still can't get her back.

Police LCP Zahar from Sg will be working together with the witnes (the exbf of the lady who took it) to find out how and where to get her back.

I will have to wait only.... meantime the vet (also a witness) ask me to adopt a abunden dog and I have agreed rather thanjust wait and wait.

Hi,

I think you take too long to solve ur missing/kidnap dog. You should act fast when you found out that ur dog was taken by that person. It seem to me you have giving up hope to get back ur dog and now you adopt another dog to replace ur lost dog. Frown

He/She already told u he/she doesnt have the heart to rob the dog back, furthermore if u rush into the house then cant find ur dog do u know how serious it is? Things heppened happen, & im sure although he/she adopted a dog which is very good, he/she wont give up effort to get back the dog. THe owner surely feel very sad already, stop criticise ppl anymore abt the pass which wont help, if u r so damn smart go ahead suggest some solutions, if u can bang up the door, go to the unit & do it, i will personally give u a BIG No.1 prize.

Trust me I done it before at the end got my dog back!!!
