Tick Fever Question	Can't Post

Dear all,

Just wondering about tick fever. It seems to me that it very rampant here in Malaysia due to our climate. I have a dog that had tick fever sometime back but is now back to normal. I was thinking of breeding her later this year but would like to clarify the following first:

Can the tick fever sickness be passed on from mother to pup in birth? (something like human sickness?) Or it can only be from a tick?
