Wouldn't it b nice if we could know who has wat breed and a summary of the records? We've got like over 2000 members, don't really know how many of em are active. Being able to know what breed is popular amongst the forum members should be fun.
For e.g. I really do wonder who else owns a pug besides Khoobg and KawChai
Yup thought of that too. Something like a members directory but emphasis on the breed of dog owned. Later on maybe a statistic on the breed owned by members., then you'll really know what breed rules.....Mixed breed included

yeah~ the directory, kinda sort out the member's name in alphabetic order, perhaps, in the order of the breeds own, but this would be a little bit harder coz some owners keep more than a dog, more than one breed.
i have a golden..and soon a bichon is coming home...my bf and I are planning to get another puppy golden....hehe...but three doggies in my place, aduh!!

Ok, on this subject of directory/yellow pages, I have an idea. Why dont we use the existing thread in the forum on BREED SPECIFIC to improvise. We can have a sub-thread according to the breed in the group and members can put their name, location ,the no.they have. Other details like name of their doggie and contact details can be optional. The next member can then add on to the list with their details and so on like the one we have on the event thread.
To get an idea, I have started one under toy thread for my breed. Take a look and see what members think. We can improve on it along the way.
I personally wish to see a more comprehensive member's directory, "probably" monitored by the webmaster? like how we sent our signature-attached-pics to Mr.Khoo, we provide the information of the breeds owned and he then updated to the directory for easier monitoring? (seems like not quite feasible to him, he always bz~) or maybe just DIRECT input what we have in our user profile about the dogs we own into the directory??
we definitely have to work hard for that esp for you since you own 5 of the 10 cavaliar king charles spaniel in malaysia . I have notice that you have started the ball rolling and I too have posted mine up. Lets hope ours wont be the only one. At least its a start and like u say, we'll improve it as time goes by.
