GSD mix Rottweiler Can't Post

Have anyone has this mixed breed before? I just acquire one but it seems like many objections from family due to the fact that it's Rottweiler mixed. Rottweiler has a reputation of being dangerous.

My mum 70 yrs old is taking care of the pup in the day time when I go to work. It's only 6 weeks old. Bought from someone.

Any advice?

As long as your dog is properly trainned.. then i don't think it would be a problem..

To me doggie no matter what bree, only agressive if you have mistreat her example hitting her and stuff or you train her to attack...other than that they are fine...Rottie is a good breed esp to me as a companion...

so take care ya

hi Samuel, please check out the latest posting at "Do You like (husky + german shepard)"-Mixed Breed and Mongrels. There are some opinions regarding mixing breeds. I have a cross-breed and she makes the perfect companion for my family!!

Mixed breed, because of their unknow ancestry it is almost impossible to predict the basic characteristics of the breed.

Whereas Purebreed dog exist with known characterristics such as size, temperament, energy levels and so on.

All dogs (and animals) deserve tender loving care(TLC) irrespective of their background.

since now it is talking abt trainability, no matter pure breed mix breed mongrels, all can be trained. moreover GSD & rottweiler had a close tie, hence the outcome of the dog should be relatively consistent. GSD & rottie is a trainable dog, hence if u treat this mixed breed correctly, they will behave even better than toy breeds.

Check out my Pi Pi!I dunno what mixed she is but she is superb in learning tricks. She cannot be trained with treats because she cannot listen when i have food in my hand Mad. She is just too excited when comes to food!! I have to keep "sayang" her, pat her and keep saying "good girl" . hehehe
