There will be two shows in the Month of March at the MIPE 2003 at the MINES.

On 15th of March 2003, there will be one ABC (All Breed Championship Show) and an Obedience Trial

On 16th of March 2003, there will be another ABC Show.

Expected to have two Judges for each show and one for Obedience Trial. Total shall five (may be more ?)

Cheers

Hi Ying,

For to get into the conformation show, u need the export pedigree from akc and register him with mka.

Hi Ying,

Yeap, you must have a export pedigree from AKC in order to register Mack with MKA. I got to know this from one of the pet shop owner in Taipan.

Do we have to present the certs if we wish to have our dog enter for competition? As i have not change the ownership of Jaz from the breeder's name to my name yet.

Hi Lisa,

OK, in order to enter your pup into the conformation show, what you need to do is fill up the forms send by MKA a week or 2 before the show and return the form to MKA with some fee. OK I you would like to change the owner name of the cert, what u need to do is call MKA and ask them to send u the change of ownership form and get the breeder's signature on the form or the original owner. You need to pay small amount of fee for this process.

Khoo : May be u can share with us how much is per entry for the show.

I think even if your dog has not yet been transferred over to you formally, as long as you have the dog's microchip number, it should be acceptable. I just signed up our Brinkley for the obedience class and her cert is not out yet, so ownership has not been formally transferred, but as long as we can give micropchip number onthe entry form, it was acceptable.

Also, a friend of ours entered one of our puppies into the recent Malacca show before the ownership change was completed in MKA. Check with them though.

Hi Lisa,

If Jaz is registered with MKA, then u can register her for the show. The microchip will only be implanted to those puppies taht are born after March 2002.

hehe... you're right. i think kids who grow up with dogs will def. love dogs.

my hubby pretty good at loving dogs, i think he will be more into it once "his" dog gets to go to all these fun things like shows and obedience as well... he doesnt like luckey so much coz he says she reminds him of her dad (who bit him wuite a few times!) Unsure

Hi there, i don't think that would be a problem as i've seen owner bring thier dogs to shows as well but not entering thier dogs for competition.. perhaps just to tengok-tengok and jalan-jalan or simply to socialise around Smile

If i am free, I'll be going with Eve (lulugurl). But don't think Jaz is quite ready for competition.. maybe we'll just go and have a good time and see you participate and cheer for you! Smile
