hi yeequin,
Typically, we will get the breeder listing from MKA . CHeck out www.mka.com.my for the list of GR breeders in M'sia.
Appreciate if you could tell us a bit more in the Member's Intruduction section. I understand from your other thread that you will be staying in an apartment. Pls. check if the authority of the apt. allows you to have a GR in the house...

Yeequin:
If you are living in an apartment, you may also want to consider if there is enough space for a GR as it requires quite a space for activity area. With warm regards, CY Phang

Hiya,
If your aparment allows you to keep a Golden, then you will have to be prepared to take it out for walks & exercises. Take it from someone who has Goldens, they need lots of exercises. Mine just love to gallop!

Hiya, you have a golden too? We have a 3 month old golden called Brinkley who is adorable. Have you any pics of your golden and do you compete with your golden?

Actually, my family have 3. The one and only time I did any showing was eons ago when I was a kid and was handling my dad's Pom. I won too, got a cute picture of me looking quite blear with the dog & a trophy. I think all I got for the junior handling was a bag of sweets (This was way back in the 70s)! My dad did show one of the goldens (the matriach) but he retired her from the ring when she achieved Malaysian Champion.

Have you checked whether your aparment's management allows GR? I am living in an aparment too, but they do not (technically) allow dogs. I did notice some people with the small breeds, though.
Can't wait to move to a house so I can bring one of my Golden down.

wow your dad's golden was a malaysian champion? now that's what brinkley wants to be hope we can train, groom and grow her to that level though! now its just basics for her... teaching her to stand properly and stuff.
you planning to join the doggy activities soon? are you based in kl?
