Asthma Can't Post

Hello. My cavalier king charles spaniel is 10 months old. He has recently started making very strange noises at night while he's asleep. They are very high pitched wheeze-like snorts, unlike his usual snoring. Could this be asthma, and how is it treated if so.

Thanks stacey
