Jungle Trekking @ Tmn Pendidikan Bkt Gasing on April 3, 2004 - ROUND 6 !!!	Can't Post

Hey Guys,

Here comes ROUND 6 ! Do take note that this coming trek will be tough.... in Surind's word its Medium to hard trek but for us (Jo, you would know which trek i'm talking about here) its definitely HARD. This trek is the 1st trek that we went through before and is very high n tough and the slope is really at 45 degrees high and at times we have to use the ropes by the side to pull ourselves up.

So do note that this trek is definitely not for small dogs unless the owner is prepare enough to carry the dogs up when necessary. (I do hope that I'm not scaring anyone lol...)

Btw, I can't stress this enough.... but here goes again.

1. Do put your dogs to be on-leash at all times. We have received some feedback from the residents there that they are not really happy that some dogs was not on-leash on our previous walk in round 5. I hope that you guys can understand that its not that I want to adhere this kind of rules but we do not want to lose a place to walk our dogs in the jungle juz bcoz some residents make some complains about it rite.

2. Pick up after your dogs poo.

Date : April 3, 2004 (Saturday)

Meeting Venue : Taman Pendidikan Bukit Gasing

Time : 7:15 AM (sharp)

we hope to be able to go into the jungle by 7.30 AM

Direction 1 :

From Padang Merbok�s roundabout use the way towards Telekom. After driving passed Telekom on your left you will see a row of shoplot and signboard of a restaurant called �Lotus�. Just before Lotus Restaurant, on your right, you will see a Chinese Temple and there is a junction. Turn right. After turning do go all the way straight for about 200 � 300 meter and there should be a playground of some sort and you can park your cars there. There should be a signboard that says : Tmn Pendidikan Bukit Gasing.

Direction 2 :

Beside the Lasalle School, there is the Raju Restaurant � go straight all the way up and you will reach a T junction. At the T junction do turn to your right and go all the way straight you should be able to see the playground.

Things to take note of :

1. Dogs have to be on leash/harness on all times.
2. Please pick up after our furkids poo.
3. Bring plastic bags
4. Bring water for human n for furkids
5. Wear stockings
6. Have a good pair of walking shoe or sneakers.
7. One dog per person is highly recommended as it�s a real jungle trail.
8. Don�t wear too short a shorts if you are afraid of being scratch by the bushes and donating blood to the mozzy ya ! ;)

Aiya... got complains liao ah? Then must be careful, otherwise we'll all see a "No Dogs" sign there next time...

Unfortunately, we won't be going this time. The previous trek was kind of hard for us, especially my dad because he was with Chelsea. The fatty was pulling very hard on the leash and my dad nearly jatuh down the hill.

(^_^) If we go this time, you'll see two human tumbleweeds tumbling down the hill, singing, "Jack and Jill"

Try to get a body harness for Chelsea. I can lend you mine...since I've got 2 body harness. The one I used last time was abit big for Yen Yen Unsure

. It might suit Chelsea's size. Cool

Aiya, give Oki a chance ler. U wont know until you try. Ok, maybe not this round, since this is a difficult round. I also dont know if I can take it or not. Might end up Yen Yen have to drag me home.. hehe!

Last time I also worried that Yen Yen will be too sakai to see all other dogs, and was even worried that he might end up climbing some trees like a real sakai! Crazy

Kidding.. but he was fine.

U come for another easier round yars? Must come u know!

I also don't remember seeing unleash dogs. We are a pack of dog lovers, so, we didn't mind thus didn't bother to take notice. But those who are "not so into dogs" will notice it.

So, please, ppplllleeeeaassseeeeeee........ppppllleeeaaasseee, people....put your dogs on leash at all times. Don't want no stupid sign sticking out from the ground that says "No Pets Allowed"! Wink

what u say is correct. we are so used to seeeing the dogs and them being off leash is nothing to us but for others who is really looking... then i'm sure they'll noticed. Surind told me as his other dog will only walk off leash so he will not be bringing the dog for jungle trekking anymore (just in case) knowing now that we are being 'watch'

Ya.. i also dont remember seeing anyone with their dogs off leash, but again, i also agree that we are used to seeing dogs offleash.

I also really dont want to loose the only place where we can bring dogs. I had a bad experience being chased out of a park before Unsure

Everyone! Leash ur furkids in round 6, and any other rounds ok? Wink

And please pick poo then take poo bag along and dispose off at the nearest rubbish bin on the way out after trekking. Don't just throw it on the side of the trek into the bushes. Wink
