Presently I own a mastiff and looking for another dog to adopt....but somehow I found most of the members here are fr KL and Penang...dont understand y so few are fr johor...therefore i need to do a "headcount" on the johoreans here...hehe

mlee8088 : There is a petstore called Ventura Petshouse in Bukit Indah. They have a couple of Rotties there for sale. I recommend this store to you because I personally know the breeder who bred those dogs. They are an elderly couple, very responsible breeders who really love their dogs.
If you decide to pay a visit to this pet store, just tell them "Sherman" recommended you to go there. They're nice and helpful people...they have become my friends now.

anyway I went to NOAH'S ARK (NANAS) today to play with the dogs there....may be next time when we have more johoreans I can bring u there....getting close with the person in charge there n the dogs there are really friendly...hehe..u dont have to buy all the breeds but u can enjoy urself playing with them there...there is dalmatian,mastiff,great dane,GSD,JRT,beagles,sheepdogs,labrador, GR n lots more running freely in the ten acres shelter...sounds great right?
Its a different experience when u go SPCA where all the dogs are caged..

So many dogs at NANAS ar. Good breed some more. U can go there n play with them ar. I really scared of big breeds one but I love them all the same.
R they up for adoption. If I knew..I would have gone there to have a look. My fiance and I initially wanted a JRT..but difficult to find such a breed in JB as the pricing is very competitive. Tried looking for breeders but dunno who to turn to. No idea who the breeders are and whether there's one. Looked under the adoption threads also don't have.
But I'm happy that I bought Penny even though she's from a pet shop. She's healthy n active. Just recently she had flakes on her skin due to tick bites so put her under nupro for a week n hope she recovers ok so she can get her 2nd jab underway. Never thought the lawn was so infested with ticks. Must be the stray cats living nearby our place. They r a pain. "Special ppl" around our area like to feed them or keep them as strays.......I just wished they have proper owners. I'm keeping my Penny under house arrest until she recovers.
