thanks boon... but rover don enjoy kibbles actually.. he eat them only when he couldn't get other food from us... the other day i gave him the can food for the first time, then i mix in 5 biji of his kibbles... but then i saw him picking out those kibbles from his bowl n place it on the floor without missing even one! guess he finally get to taste the real meat! and rover likes to play with water just like harvey... he like to place his fore legs in the pond and when nobody is looking at him, he jump into the pond splashing water everywhere! telling him NO didn't help much.. he's one pampered n rebellious puppy.. really pandai merajuk n pantang kena scold.. any ideas besides saying NO?

you can start OB training with him now, when he do something unwanted, redirect that unwanted behaviour into OB.

U may want to start with the simple sit, stand, heel, down, stay, come and etc....

my definition of 'crazy' - dragging us to the other dogs to sniff butt butt and nearly 'kam' on female doggies (sorry about that!) Blush

, barking like crazy, frightened some of the dogs there because he was being over-friendly, mark his territory over and over again at the same place. Crazy

hehehe...he always get massage on the head from me wan. eh, did u catch this show were featuring this guy massaging for dogs and he was demonstrating on a terrier and at the end of the massaging, the dog is sooo relax and slept off already. so cute! Tongue

ohh.. i din see woh.. next time u tell me i watch okie?

but i did find this CD for dog healing wan.. seems the music is composed to let the human and dog relax in a very comfortable state and when the dog is relaxed he will feel better and heal faster woh.. teaches about the chakras (energy - u know as in yoga teaching) points of the animal so we massage there can help both human and dog improve health...

kinda cool eh??

Somemore, d name max is so common, tat day came upon a site that states that Max is d most popular name 4 male dogs in US n UK. hehehe~~~

i thought it was pretty interesting... its like audiopathy for the dogs.. heheheeee..... i think they like it if you put soothing music that doesnt have high frequency and you stroke them... its very relaxing for both u n the dog wan... both oso build connection... hehehee...the more u pet the dog oso helps improve the closeness between both cos can generate some chemical reaction it seems.. hahahaa.. like humans la... Wink

haha~~, we call him big fat chicken cos he looks so macho yet afraid of little little things like.............RUBBER BANDS!!! My stupid bro's fault, shot him wit rubber band when he was still a puppy.

Max goes 4 his daily walks, n meet his doggie frens.
He makes more enemies than frens though.....sigh.

Max same age as Oki, Dec 01 baby.

Nolar, d main reason of gettin a 2nd dog is our own intention la, nothin 2 do wit Max. I think max has sufficient TLC n companionship all this while. It's not fair 2 get a dog or cat 4 max so that he won't b lonely.

yalor, i oso told joanne (d lab's owner) that it's fairer 2 let those who doesn't hav a dog yet but able 2 gif a dog a loving home a better chance 2 adopt d lab.

aiyoo...poor thing for max kena frightened by yr bro! oki also fears upside-down chairs/stools because he got stuck in one before. was retrieving a ball and got stuck. ever since then, he will bark at upside-down chairs/stools and never goes underneath a chair/stool again. Tongue

good that u take max for walks daily. i come back really late from work. therefore, only can take him out during weekends. Unsure

max is oki's kor kor loh then. hehehe...btw, where are u staying?

i wanted oki to have a friend to play with because he looks bored. Blush

yeah, i'm sure max n oki will love each other 2 play wit cos my dog seems 2 prefer those big size dog 2 play wit. Used 2 wrestle wit ex-neighbour's mixed GSD every nite (cos d fence got 1 lubang) b4 we moved 2 this new place.

He very lansi wit small dogs 1, cos cannot play wit Unsure

Btw, dun u think it's a bit odd that less ppl response 2 Joanne's lab 4 adoption thread??? =( Could it b that adopting a big dog like a lab takes heavier responsibility that not every1 can bear???

hahaha...max very considerate lah. he afraid that if he plays with the small dog, then the small dog will kena kepik by him since he is so much bigger than them. hehehe...wah...can go play with next door dog some more. my oki wants to play with any dog around. he even chase after them. Crazy

yeah loh....but any retrievers are also cute wan mah. they are so cute and with their big paws. Smile

i dunno....maybe some ppl actually prefer to get a dog by their own than adopting one. in case the dog has already has bad habits and all kuar. dunno lah. never mind, already 3 of us asking about the roxy and chesbat still has not reply yet whether what is the progress. maybe she decided she wants roxy after all. hmm...i think u are right about big dogs more responsibility concept and also smaller dogs are easier to take them out for walks than big dogs. hahhaa....big dogs takes the owner for a walk, it's more like it. actually Amy, i'm very curious wer do u keep all 3 of ur little monsters at nite or when there's nobody at home??? U've got an enclosure just 4 them? Really do wonder how u do it. If i've got 3 dogs i dun need 2 do any other things liaw Blush

, always BZ worry sick bout them wit all d potential danger.

I used 2 worry sick of my dog cos he was not allowed 2 sleep inside d house at nite last time. Worry that he'll get poisoned or stolen. Now much better, he can spend d nite inside n even stay inside d house when we'r out 4 a short while. Surprisingly, he won't wreck anything when he's left alone in d house.

We really need 2 take all d precaution nowadays, so many dognapping n poisoned case.
all 3 dogs of a resident in my place kena poisoned using "char siew pau" in order 2 break in2 their house. Damn heartless la, those theives.
