A question on forum's policy Can't Post

Hi Mr Khoo,

I wud really like to know why was the post posted by Jasonlyh on member's website was deleted coz i'm really confused now? The website was of no advertisement nature at all, rather it was just a personal website of an owner for her dog and about her dog. Is this also not allowed in here? Why is it then that the Halloween party post with the sales of tickets be allowed then? Is it because it's not of doggie related matter? Pls advise coz it doesn't really make sense to me...perhaps i'm missing something here in which case kindly share your concerns and thoughts about this.....thanks.

Yesterday was yesterday. If all members are only thinking of yesterdays, where on earth will we and can we have progress??? Think of the future?? Please think.

No!! and a positive NO!! Our beloved Webmaster is absolutely correct. He is maintaining this forum at his own expense, and hope one day it will be also posted to other planets. While he kept it going, and you especially you ADVERTISE your kennel establishment FOC at The Webmaster's expense. How can you take advantage like this?
Please apologise to the Webmaster for his 'fatherly' advise and thank him for making you smarter OK?

Hi Ginl,

Cinema.com.my has been one of our previous partners on our MalaysiaDirectory.com portal. We have in the past work with them on cinema contents where they have supplied us a lot of online contents and we have decided not to delete that posting.

Hope it serve to clarify.

Cheers.

Ai-your-your!!! Once again you have "under-estimated" me CrazyWinkTongue, I did realized it but just to keep it to myself ... not so nice to bring it to you!!!

... and you especially you ADVERTISE your kennel establishment FOC at The Webmaster's expense. How can you take advantage like this? ...
I agreed I have stated my url address as my "signature", I do it almost every other forum I am in. I regret and caused un-neccessary "mis-understanding" here with puppy com. Sorry Angelic !!!

Now, I just realized that I'd paid for a small amount to be "advertise" with Puppy Com in the main page under Breeder ... at least, I am not that guilty!!! Cool Cool Cool

Oh yes, Thanks Leo Pui that has make some contirbution of RM 100.00 to us for the listing in Breeder Directory. We have also allowed Leo Pui to include his web URL in his Signature until very recently as a gesture of Thanks for the help he had extended to other members.

As for Derrick Kok AKA Shedawan, we have been offering him the following even until today :-
  • Free listing in the breeder directory
  • Free advertisement on the main page of puppy.com.my on his dog boarding services.

We have helped some old members in one way or another for their help extended to others.

Cheers

Re: [Khoobg] A question on forum's policy [In reply to] Can't Post

Ok that sounds fair....but in all other forums that i've been to whether profit or non profitable sites, members are allowed to post their personal websites, email addy, etc...reason is not only can the members talk about their doggie problems they are also able to share amongst themselves pictures or stories of their dogs with each other....i realise there will be some of them who will try to post commercial websites or posts but it is part of the owner of the website's descretion to discard those posts....after all it goes with the job of owning a popular site....when the site flourishes, the website owner has to keep up with the flow, take it to a newer dimension and not the other way around.

I know what you are talking about. Our beloved webmaster has his ways to control and safe guard his site, so comparison here is not exactly fair to the owner.
You have to bare in mind that you are visiting some body's house and if the rules say that upon entering you please remove your shoes, then you have to do so.
Therefore when you are a visitor, behave yourself and do what the host required you to do to SHOW your respect.
Of course this site is being taken to The Dimension of Infinity. It is looking beyond 'Wawasan 2020' and yet you are not happy with this vision.

Your suggestion is definitely good but not even all my forum run with the same rules. KOI forum is being run with a quick different rules.

At this point in time, I am the only person actively monitoring the forum and until we are able to appoint moderators to monitor the forum, the rules may have to stay in this way for a while.

Cheers
