Looking for good and reasonable price grooming center around KL area...

My litter Toby is 2 month old. Plan to bring him to do some grooming as his 3 months old birthday present. Due to financial limitation, I'm looking for a reasonable price and good grooming center around KL or Selangor area for my litter Toby, miniature schnauzer... Is it too early to bring him for the grooming?

Your advice and recomendation I REALLLLLLYYYYYYYY appreciate it. THANKSSSSSS... Smile

Once finished 3rd vaccination then can already lor. But of cos if possible, older better lah. Most grooming places is exactly the world's most sterilised place for young pups. They can pick up a lot of stuff from there especially the bathing areas.

My vet used to suggest I take my dogs just for the trimming. Sendiri bring home and bath. Crazy

Anyway...reasonable ah.... Pet Family in Tmn Megah lor. My dogs go there cos cheaper than most places. But one comes home with razor burnt almost everytime he goes for grooming. Hahahahaah i don blame the groomer cos he is just being impossible to handle.

Where exactly is ur location in Selangor?

wahhh u're in ampang ah....then u better look for groomer around that area. Takkan u wanna come down all the way to kelana jaya just for grooming session.... Crazy

Anyway, took my dog yesterday for a bald look. Kena RM80. Usually full cocker grooming about RM70 for adult size. Somehow all bald lagi mahal. Don understand why also. hahahahaha Tongue I got quoted about RM100++ from other groomer around PJ area. Next cheapest also RM90 for full cocker look. One place even quoted me RM120++...if have to dematt, 1 hr RM40. Crazy Next time I will try sending to one of those that charge RM40/hr for dematting. They say they don break the knot but will try to detangle it. I wonder how...so I wanna tau-si from them. Hahahahaahha Tongue

Re: [steffy1811] Looking for good and reasonable price grooming center around KL area...

hey guys... i bring milo once in 3 weeks to puppy cottage in TTDI. RM30 for bathing plus trimming plus clipping nails plus cleaning anal sac etc... d whole deal MINUS hair cut. lol. all in plus hair cut would be RM50. budden i understand milo gets charged dis price because he's a very, very small lil' doggie, and v r regulars. if not, den it might be abit more expensive. having said dat, their service is still v good, and really reasonable overall.

and NO, i'm not related to d ppl running d plc! juz a satisfied customer.

Re: [J-J] Looking for good and reasonable price grooming center around KL area...

Ohh that is it..... I think the pricing is ok lah... i went to ask for quote once. The guy there seemed pretty friendly too..... I asked for a 7month old ACS full grooming how much. They quoted me RM90 i think........i somemore joke with them, got cheaper or not cos only groom 3 legs. The 4th leg nothing to groom cos just got out of leg cast. Tongue he somemore can tell me, see the pup first then only let me know the price again.

I donnu where I put the number liao but maybe I'll schedule an appointment with them next month for my puppy. Rascal already botak yesterday, so no need to groom for the next 1/2 year. Hahahahahaha Tongue

every 3 weeks clean anal sac ah?? Must meh..... i think my dogs see vet only clean anal sac wor....that's like once every 6 months...... Smile

Re: [alexnadra] Looking for good and reasonable price grooming center around KL area...

hey alex... TTDI = taman tun dr ismail. if u're familiar with 1 Utama, it's the housing area right next to it across the highway (the one heading to sri damansara). there's a bunch of shops along the road perpendicular to that highway, that's the area. here's the address:

38, Lorong Rahim Kajai, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, 60000 KL.

note that they will probably charge RM35 at the beginning until u're a regular. Laugh but i thot that RM35 is also pretty ok. i checked with pet safari ikano, and they quoted RM50 for bathing oni, and RM100 for full cut. Pirate
