looking for beagle pup(thanks wan!)

birdie New User Jun 24, 2006, 9:09 AM Views: 2968 looking for beagle pup(thanks wan!) hello people! this is birdie! yeah i introduced mahself earlier in new member section. thanks to Wan for inviting me to join the group. yeah, i gonna get a beagle pup from the pet shop in SS2 "summer pet". the manager told me that there will be 2 beagle pups arriving next week. (1 girl & 1 boy) While waiting for the pup to arrive, i would like to know if anyone here saw any beagle puppy for sale anywhere in the town?any petshop or breeder? i think its good to have some choices. my girlfriend just got a silky terrier(2months), the boy is living with me. It'll be perfect for the new baby beagle boy to have a playmate! by the way... doggie dont gay right? special thanks to growri_24 and Wan!(very cool beagle owner) love you people! Birdie

noname Member Jun 25, 2006, 7:30 PM Views: 2950 Re: [birdie] looking for beagle pup(thanks wan!) you are welcome friend. my beagle name is whiskey, same owner with wan. we also bought it from SS2 summer pet. yesterday i did drop-by the shop and take a peep, didnt see any beagle there. shih tzu have a lot. there is one shih tzu very young.. i think around 6 to 7 weeks old... just brought in only. the rest like jack rusell, chihuahua, golden retriver, pomerian and etc... i kinda like chihuahua and wanna to buy it... but have to hold on first. looking for breeder is better than buying from petshop... btw, my beagle is almost 6 months old... Just curious wanna to ask you. I see in the petshop, it is hard to get a tricolor beagle with a neat patches of the color. To answer Malice, frankly i don't remember as i have breed quite a number of litters. Maybe you can tell me more like the DOB, age and lineage. Is she doing well ??? Mei yong, colour is depending on lines. I have lines that carry broken tri that has a lot of white on the body. This line is from my legendary Grand Champion Prince Ben. Coincidently, i have a litter of 1 male and female from him.. Anyway, my other lines carry mostly blanket tri that is not much white on the body.. All his sibilings carry the name of Expresso and Latte! Personally I like that Blackberry line, the ears are much much longer, and more brown in color. Actually I also curious to know how & what requirement is needed to enter for competition? Not that I want to enter my dog (no such time), but just "kay po" only. So..Malice...plan to enter your dog for competition huh?

No thx, my passion toward dogs havent reach to that extend yet and it is never an easy task to train a show dog rather than obidient dog. I would like to say "thumbs up" to my breeder Ms.Felicia for the passion and dedication towards her 16 beagles. She breed the dogs solely for the show purpose.

Therefore, i can't really answer you but as i have communicate with oversea breeder before. THey do have puppies with tricolour. Personally i think the chances to get tricolour is low. From my history of breeding, if the lines are strong in bicolour.. It will definitely get majority of the litter bicolour altough the parents are tricolour.. Hope this give you some vote of confidence.. Oh ya, to answer malice.. well i know your breeder.. I am sure he gets lots of publicity with the website.. perhaps one day i should do my own when i get more free time.. LOts of ppl suggest i should since the winning i have for the past 5 years are extremely well with my beagles and whippets.. Felisville.. wow.. she got 16 beagles ??? hmm.. i never know she got that much of time.. kekekeke.. hope she can cope well.. Personally i have or own even more but due to my studies (before) and work as a vet now.. i can't keep that much.. Well. it's a long post.. Happy beagling guys..
