When cleaning the ear basically you need to drop few drop of ear cleaner into the ear. Then massage about 30sec and let him shake out the excess ear drop then only use cotton bud put abit of ear cleaner on it and clean the ear lor.
If ur dog have hair in it, you need to pluck out the hair one at a time. Hair inside the ear canal will grow ear mite.
the drum of the dog's ear is actually quite deep inside & normally not approachable unless u do it in force. anyway it is advisable to clean it until where u can see.
dont forget to put in the ear powder if u wish to pluf the furs inside to reduce the pain.
