archer K9 Senior Apr 8, 2003, 12:51 AM Views: 3500 aloha! aloha ppl ! How's it going? Would like to say this site is one heck of a place for a dog lover to be in ! Let's see introducton, hrmmm ... never been good in that, well let's start the ball rollin`! Got a 6 week old pug last friday, am so totally awed by his curiosity and energy packed behaviour. Oh the name's Yoda, I also noticed that there's another pug in here by the same name, Sorry mate didn't mean to. Oh yeh, Yoda's my first dog! Keeping my fingers crossed that' I'll provide him with the best and nothing far from it. Reading I have been doing, but practice makes perfect! Cheers! visit the pug thread...

Yoda will definitely be socializing, but that gotta wait till after his 3rd vaccination which is due end of May. After that he'll smell freedom and much more! Erm personally, I think u should train the fella not to bite stuff that dun belong to him/her, Yoda used to do that ever so frequently untill I started training him. Hello archer, I heard from people that it is not wise to get dogs from pet shop. why so? if not, where do people usually get their dogs from? How do you train your dog not to bite things that don't belong to them? I read from a book that we have to say no to it and put him away. It doesn't seem to work. No, i don't have a pug but i have a basset hound. It is not suppose to socialize is it until it finish it's jab issit? I already took mine out for walk and relieve. It haven't even got it's 2nd jab. How do you toilet train him? I mean, where is the best spot? toilet? What shall I do?

Hi doodle, There are several reasons why one should get a puppy from a breeder if not a respected breeder as opposed to getting one from the pet shop. The pet shop owner is pretty experienced and my puppy is quite healthy too. How do you know whether the pet shop does not get it's dogs from breeder? How do you place trust?
