prettycuter Novice Feb 16, 2004, 4:38 PM Views: 1234 worms hi. my puppy has been given deworming pill on last tuesday....and after that...i noticed that there's worms on his shit. is this normal? i mean, the worms will come out usually after they took the deworming pill? but for how many days they will shit worms? my puppy shitted worms from last fri till today. aren't all the worms in his stomach will be cleared after many many days he shitted them out? sorry i;m new to puppy...advice are much much appreciated. prettycuter ---prettycuter---

As for how long worms will continue to be passed out depends on the severity of infection ... From your post, and if your pup is still passing worms a week after treatment - your puppy may have a bad infection ...
