Actually every dog has it's own kibbles that suits them !! not jz say that brand not good den no good for the dogs!! i think what u should do now is make more research la!! see what ur lil toy poodle needs or lacks!! for example: if ur dog has skin problem choose those kibbles with are specially formulated for skin problem, if u dog has digestion problem choose those which are formulated for digestion problem!!
Blackwoods not say not good la!! my cousin hv a poodle , he also eating blackwoods the results is fine!! and his coat became really nice, BUT when i change blackwoods for my dog !! it's no good !! so it realy depends on ur dog's own condition wan!!
last time i also hv the same thinking as u !! but now after a year taking care of my dog ! i think that eating healty is more important den comparing the brands or whatso ever!!
er...try Innova/Orijen lo..my dog r eating Eukanuba n r fine..she loves the sample of Royal Canin(shes very picky)..so if u wan then u can try to get some free samples to try out first..see which brand she like..if u wants better flavour then u can try to add abit of chicken/fish/lamb to the kibbles..or canned food..ur dog will love it!
i got give the my lit poodle eat Eukanuba food bcos got get some sample. she like to eat also. dunno how to choose wat brand should she eat. U give her wat she also eat.
hard to choose wo. Pple tell me that orijen is better. Her fur will look nicer. Is that true?
Nutro is good..my dog ate tat when she was a puppy..but after tat we changed alot of brand..got many samples too..her favourite is Royal Canin..Addiction is good oso..but i dun feed coz is kangaroo meat..sound so disgusting..hehe..u can try royal canin..coz my dog is a super-duper-triple eater..she loves it means is really yummy edi..pluss the ingredients r good too..not too costly..
I thought Addiction was vegetarian... A friend told me so. I did not really check it out yet. Will look and check Nutro and Royal Canine out the next time I'm in a pet shop. Thanks loads!
Well I'm not going to feed my lil girl just anything. I want the best for her and am asking around what's good and see if she likes it. I know her liking and am checking out food to her liking.
no la...u go to sunway pyramid's petshop n see..the canned food got looots of flavours..kangaroo..rabbit..chicken..lamb..beef...kibbles oso...got one is dehydrated one..u juz need to add water n stir n it will form something like raw meat..but one small packet(not even enough for 1 meal for a small dog) is 11-12 bucks..=_=
err...try to get some samples from petsmore (behind OUG plaza)..they hv samples for almost every brand..u feed her different brand every week n record down the results la..see which one she like the most..if ur dog r not picky actually very good one..no need to worry...unlike my poodle..4 years old edi damnnnn picky one..kibbles without soaking with dog milk oso won eat..muz hand-feed..some market canned food oso dun eat one..hais...
But I don't want to mix keebles with wet food. I prefer to feed her only keebles and thinking of Addiction Veg, Nutro or Orijen. I'll check them out further. Thanks again!
Your poodle is so cute... Without dog milk must hand-feed. That's a lil princess or prince! For now, my lil Cotton Bud is not picky. But hard to say for now...

cute?aiyo...btw..i mean with milk muz hand-feed..without milk she won even bother to look at u!hais..today oso thee same..i bought a new canned food..she doesnt seems to be interested at all..sigh..if ur cotton bud is not picky then u shdnt add any wet food or other stuff..coz once they ate it..they'll never eat dry kibbles again..
u know once ah..i feed my dog chicken with carrot n potato everyday..she damn fat one..like lamb..then i went to macau n leave her at my granma's house..they oni give her a small chicken breast everyday..come bac tat time slimmed a bit edi..haha..
btw..u can view her photo at www.sabrina-de-cutiepie.blogspot.com!
o yeah..one more tips..if ur dog gets a lil bit bored of kibbles..u can try to add a bit of hot water to soak it till is soft..it works on my dog too..dunno y la..maybe the powder on the kibbles became gravy?well..hv a try!
Yea! True... I do that sometimes too! It works. Cotton Bud is a lil moody in the mornings and thus not that interested with her food. So, some mornings, I add a lil water to her food and she eats it without hesitating.
lol..btw..do u feed ur cotton abud supplement?i oni give her fish oil sometimes..smells so fishy..n actually adding abit of glucose/sugar to her food n drink will helps her coat to grow better..after adding it ur dog will drink a lot of water one..haha..
I'm giving her brewers yeast for her skin and coat. I have no idea about the glucose thingy. Want to add some oil to her food but not sure as to which is the best. My Uncle, who use to have 2 LR show dogs did mention corn oil but I'm still checking around for what's best.
corn ar?dunno la..u can buy the glucose in those place like giant..jusco or tesco..buy the one without flavour one..the box is round one..light blue colour..add 2 spoon to her water everyday..dissolve with hot water first n then add normal water..
I know the glucose. But not sure as to how it helps with the coat. And am a lil hesitant as I'm worried too much sugar/glucose will not be good. I'll probably give her a few times a week but not daily.
