my silky's name is cajun.and right now on the 24th this month he's goin to be 3 months. And i got him from this pet shop called wonderland pet's center.Compared to those Top classes silkys,mine is not ecxactly 'nice' but i love him .So u guy are from penang? which part?
Oh must be really cute since he's still a pup Glad that you are taking good care of him, but at any time, avoid purchasing any dogs from pet shop. If you read through some of the thread here, you'll understand why... Yes, I'm from Penang, Greenlane .. Plan to send your dog for obedient training? It's conducted on every Sunday by MKA at the Japanese Garden from 10-11am.... It's good to let your dog socialise with others as well. Hope to see you all there soon!
I realised why after i got Cajun..cause i went to this breeder.It's call terriers lodge near pulau tikus.Kinda regret ..but it's ok..still my puppy.And this is also my first time having a Puppy.hehehe and yeap i heard about it before. Wanted to go 2 weeks ago.but i didnt wake up early enough.hehehe
It took me nearly a year to get the silky I want... as it's kinda like a lifetime thingy, I want to make sure I get one right... there are actually a few breeder, but the best I've found is actually located in Taiping.. I'll send my dog for grooming at Terrier Lodge when necessary.... thier dogs are not bad, but the one from Taiping, better ..
Anyway, since you've bought it already, just take good care of it! See you on Sunday then!

Nop..didnt go to any dog shows before..and i really hope that my cajun will grow up to be a real hensem dog.And oh yea..is the dog obedience class free? or do we need to pay?
u need to pay for the obedience classes at Padang Merbuk ... u should bring Cajun to the next gathering we have ... dun worry, cajun would turn out to be a nice nice dog in future !! for ourself .. we as owners we always think that our dog are nice !!!!
how long ? it depends ... all u can do is to help massage the ear ... try rubbing your hands aroudn the ear everyday ... it'll help ... to some silky it works but to some it doesn't work at all ... sometimes they just stand by itself ... so it depends on the dog ... well, maybe we should wait for jaz and lulugurl see what they say !
when i bought my silky, the first one that was stolen, the ears were down...didnt stand up even at the age of 6 months. So when i purchased my second one, the breeder told me to massage the ears of the pup every day....and it worked. It stand bit by bit...and now totally stand. I dont know if it is beacuse of the massage, or it just stand itself. But you can try it and see.
