thanks for letting me know that yr lab is just as kepoh as mine. i feel a bit better now. i shall take Oki for a walk at the park first for a trial run. If you guys sees a golden lab with blue leash dragging a screaming owner, that will be me! Tongue

my aunt from australia also mentioned chicken necks. not just becoz they are supposedly very "yummy" to doggies. but also becoz they help 'clean" the doggies' teeth.

could you tell me more about Nupro? is there a website i can go to?

bumper is getting fed-up of nutro puppy lamb n rice. granted it has been 6 months since he's been eating it. he got tired of eukanuba after a month weeks (his first solid food when he was a tiny furball) and bil-jac after 3 months.

i am very wary of anything with "fillers" in it. at least anything with high percentage of it. u know, the stuff that just makes him feel full but has no real nutrition.

your big doggies - do they eat one meal a day?

i am looking forward to gathering. will be fun for bumper and also relaxing for me - it's been a very busy year.look forward to seeing you and your furballs on legs. Sly

If you want to see healthy Bumper with clean shining white teeth, try to BARF (Bones and Raw Food) him. Feed him raw chicken necks, sure he would love them!! ( of couse, raw beef, raw lamb, raw eggs....as long as they are fresh and clean.)

Nupro is a all natural supplements. U may buy it from puppycom (goto the shopping site), puppycom is carrying the Nupro for Skin & Coat, and for Joint.
I'm feeding all my dogs the Skin & Coat type.
Just do a search in forum, u may get to know more about the product.

About Nutro kibbles... *heard* that Nutro has changed its formula of producing the kibbles, even the ingredients remain the same, guess that the formula which affects the results/performances of the end products.
loves B2B and Canidae but he's on O2 Limited now as substitution. I feed him half portion of homecooked rice & meat , and half portion of kibbles. He's a BIG eater!! 2 meals per day but breakfast is lighter, sometimes 2 cups of kibbles, sometimes few slices of toast.

Old Max only take human food. He only swallow things that we put into our mouth. Else, he won't show any interest. He's taking home-cooked food as dinner, with chicken, pork, or fish, and some soup as gravy. Morning, dad will feed him human cookies.

my friends got me Oki from a breeder and he is turning 2 years old soon (2nd jan 2001). plan to get him another cupcake with candle like his birthday last year! *picture attached* Sly i am not sure he has any brothers but i am quite sure he has a sister and i am wondering what happened to her! how old is yr lab? it would be really cool if they are brothers! Certain part of the K.K lake side are without any signboard.. hence, generally we walk our dogs there. I've got Rex from a home breeder.. but his birthday is 28-Dec. He's 2 years old. Rex came from a litter of 8...

Hi Nathalie,

from the pic, i don think your lab is a dudley. This is not pink nose nor pigmentation fault. It is normal for lab that their nose color shade abit from fall to winter and will back to their dark pigment during summer. This is what they call 'Snow Nose'

Dudley (Liver Nose) means the lab with out pigment. Like pink nose, pink eye lip, lip and the pat are pink too. A dud in lab is genetic when u crossed the black and yellow which either one party carry hidden gene of a choc lab.

Snow nose is the change of pigment/color in lab's nose from dark to light during winter and the dark pigment will come back during summer.

I can't answer this, as i never heard or read anything like this before, but very unlikely. Pigment is something to do with kelp.

I would't use the word 'crossed breed', u will get a dudley puppy or puppies in a litter if u breed the black which carry the hidden genes of yellow and choc.
