Puppy to let go Can't Post

Hi…….

I have a Cavalier King Charles spaniel puppy for sale. Male, 6months old, completed his jab n vaccination (no MKA n microchip). Selling for RM450. inclusive of mattress/bed n toys. I need to let him go because I going to move house next month and not able to take care of him anymore. Plus, lately I have not much time to spend with him as I need to work. He is left alone from 8am to 10pm most of the weekdays, and I feel pity for him, that is why I think better to find somebody who can spend more time with him and take care of him. If interested please contact me. My email addrs: blurangel82 and staying in Kajang. Below his pic taken when he is 2-3 months old.

wouldnt u think about giving away to dog lovers for free? its not the matter of money, but gettin ur doggie a good home. adoption should b without paying. u mig sell for higher price, but ur dog mig not be treated well.

I know how you guys feel. I feel the same way too, when I use to patronise SPCA. But then, just think of the poor homeless animals. Perhaps, you can tell SPCA of your grieviances in the SPCA thread...

As for the min. pin, the owner stay in a ground floor flat. Many activities happening and he will bark non-stop. I donno, since you are quite keen, I will ask her again, when I see her on Sunday..Meanwhile, you try again. maybe Paws or animal friends.

Alternatively, you may want to consider medium sized dogs...My rescued puppy, PLUTO, is a medium sized dog... so far, he has adapted well with apartment living...he does't bark unnecessarily and behave well. The only BIG problem is ...he already destroy my sofa and countless slippers.I think being a puppy, he is playful & mischiveous. So, together my puppies gang-up and become a 'destroyer'.....I believe many rescuers have medium sized dogs for adoption. You can try.....

actuali i was arrangin to adopt a minpin a mth ago fr a rescuer here, but then the minpin stil not well. so i tried spca but their too strict n not friendly at all.

im stayin in condo, i hav a cat, n i always keen to keep one dog, previously i never realiz any websites for adoption till recently. so i change my mind not to buy but to adopt one.so im tryin to look for small breed.

im arrangin to meet a lady for a cocker spaniel tonite, it is a missing dog n stil cant find her owner after 2 mths. i'll c how it goes. im glad many ppl tryin to help doggies n me also to giv them a good home. coz me n my fren went to spca n they thought we were like juz go n take a dog for fun. n things din go well.

this is the first time for me to adopt a dog, but i stil wish to keep more in future. u can send me or post some pix of the doggies 4me. multibass@hotmail.com

i'll c how things go tonite. will update the news for u guys. FrownFrownFrown

yea, great news. shes 3 years old, female, toilet trained n very obedient. quiet n manja. shes not spayed, n the owner suggested to breed some puppies in future. shes having a male ECS as well. i think its a good idea also. i wont b for business definitely.

shes abit worry that stayin with me in condo, coz they normali walk them out,n i cant do it here. n my moms place, we hav large compound n garden. she will send the dog to my moms this sat, since we all gathering for party tat day. but i'll take her with me first, coz i need to spend time with her n get to know her character n stuff.

i told the owner also i mig take her along here n ther. n she said the doggie like traveling also, so it should b fine. i hope she stays with me first, coz im doin my thesis now, almos home alone everyday. mayb until i got a job, then i'll arrange mayb send bac to my mom.

n since shes quiet, i think shes fine in condo. she only bark like few times, then will keep quiet aredi. im so excited to bcum a new mommy...haha...this is my 3rd kid, 1st my kiki, 2nd my rottie.

how do u think if i rename her? coz the lady rename her Isis for 2mths. the name is ok, but its abit weird for me to pronounce. my bf suges to giv her a chinese name.

Thanks to everyone who called me ... please understand that all our dogs are neut / spayed. Whether they are pure breeds or mongrels it makes no difference. It is not a pity to neut them and it is not a good thing to breed them as well. I fostered mostly pedigreed dogs and whether they were bought at Rm200 or RM 2000 they still are homeless so they are no difference from mongrels. Please only call if you are keen to adopt them and not telling me its cruel to neut pure breed dogs.

Isis? like oasis jer the sound..he he Laugh. Any name that make you and your doggie comfortable, is alright....but if the doggie, ok, with Isis ..its ok lor...

My Brenda was name mei mei before...but she was sooo sickly and we re-name her Brenda Electra..like Electra the superpower woman..then she ok aleri...My Pluto..the other doggie..has so many name b4 we got it right..he likes the name..but just like Pluto the cartoon ,he is soooo clumsy and naughty...I guess, the name has to suit the dog's character also...Crazy

could you tell me more about your dogs?

hmmm i can't seem to send a private message to you. guess i'll drop some stuff here about myself.

mm where shall i start. well i'm from penang originally and have moved down to work, have been in pj for only a year. i have 3 dogs back in penang, mid-sized mixes. i grew up always having a dog in the family so i'm quite familiar with dogs. i do admit i've never had a poodle, i gather they will require specific care.

i'm not particular about the breed but i would prefer a smaller dog that i feel i can handle and care for better and that can adapt to apartment living.

i don't work late at the office so i'm usually back at home right after.

i'd like to get to know more about the dog as well before i really decide if it's right for me to adopt him.

would it be possible for me to come by to see you and the doggy?

Re: [mbless] Puppy to let go [In reply to] Can't Post

hi molly, nice to know someone from penang also! it's ok, good to know he's found a family.

i'm thinking of all the aspects first, for example, is it easy to find good boarding places for pets when i'm away? what sort of dog would best suit me and my current environment.

someone told me she knows someone who has two dogs in my apartment, a pom and a mixed (medium sized dog). i cannot imagine having a big dog in an apt, it would be difficult to take him out for walks! and no room for it to roam around.

i've been reading about breeds. i'm quite interested in pom's and shihtzus. otherwise, i do like small mixed/mongrels also, but i gather small dogs are quite hard to find?

i saw some ads for puppies for sale, such as shihtzus for 500 , etc... what do you think about these? is it better to look at these options than to go to petshops? i read that petshops just get from puppy mills and they don't care for these animals well. so i would prefer not to buy from these places.

what would you advise?

thanks! koay

I would suggest you give a chance to homeless dogs...Which part of the town u staying?Which apartment? If in PJ, I can recommend a good vet in Sec 14.

U do realize that there's some sort of 'stupid law' that do not allow the resident to keep dogs. If u are in that situation, I hope you can find a solution rather then 'giving-away' your doggie....

I have 2 toy dogs (min pin) and 1 mixed breed. Size of unit : 948sq feet, I dont face any problem with space. Probably because, I dont like to have too many furnitures at home. In fact, they puppies are growing and they seem to be ruining everything they can have the teeth on.

My advise if you plan to keep them in apt : less furniture or better cheap furniture. Throw after rosak....plus lots and lots of toys....

If you are keen in the Chi Hua Hua mix, please do give me a call. There is an adoption fees of RM350 pay to PAWS. Fees will include her deworming, 3 vacinations and spaying. She is now 7 weeks old. Earlier on, we were at Hartamas Shopping Centre. But can't find a suitable one to adopt, either

She is a female dog... she is getting better now. turn out that she is already 4 mths old but just very small... slightly bigger than my palm size. Anyway, I have found a very good owner for her.. Only hope she gets better.
The other dog that we collected last night, we will send her for grooming tomorrow... she is pretty small. But she do bark quite a bit. I think not so good for you. She is so cute and unique... her looks and colour. One of our fosterer will foster her.
keep me updated on your adoption ya...

The maltese ( pure maltese but the larger size ones) is very handsome but he is snappy. He is also barkish. He seems to like man more than ladies. If you know of anyone who want to adopt him, please let me know.... but he is snappy ya. He loves to be cuddle but a bit 'tau hong' ... will suddenly snap. If someone wants a nice looking dog that walks around the house and a watch dog and dont mind not patting him daily, then he is fine. On his own, he is ok.. friendly with other dogs too. Dont like taking baths and dont like grooming. So he is send to the groomer monthly. Other than tat, a quick groom daily... is ok. Can sit, shake hand and really adorable.

Re: [mbless] Puppy to let go [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Molly. Thank you for the offer. But is it true that the dog's behaviour will be slightly changed after been spayed or neutered.

My brother in law used to have a mixed chi hua hua, who is very alert & have good self confidence. But after been spayed, the character changed to be a bit timid & always being bullied by others. And the changes made us felt bad for her. Your professional opinion, please .

BTW - can I see the picture of the small terrier & how much do I need to pay.

While I am still sad for loosing my Tenterfield Terrier (as informed you the other day), my the other Spitz ( around 12 years old ) is getting more attention & closer to me. But, unfortunately, she has slowed down a lot & not as active as before. She gets tired easily when I take her out for my routine walk around neighbourhood which covers aprox 3.5 km - Perhaps I need to shorten the route, so that she will not be too much stressed

Re: [willi] Puppy to let go [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi sorry for the late reply.... had been very busy lately. From my own experience, most of the dogs I have neut have not changed their behavior.... but I noticed that dogs neutered immediately after on heat MAY sometimes alter slight of their behavior. But after much TLC, the dog usually become ok. I guess it has something to do with their hormones.
I have rehomed the terrier mixed already. I have a ST, with yeast infection (mild) but I am showing her to a family. If she is not adopted, are you interested?

Hi sorry... i have been busy... As I have said earlier, the maltese needs only experience owner who are willing to work with him. He is snappy and temperamental. If you want a dog to cuddle all the time, this dog is not suitable. Lots of ppl came and wanted to adopt him and we would love to have him rehomed but we need to home him to an experience owner. Preferably with no kids... or future kids. He is unpredictable but a lovely dog.

i have a dog, which i have adopted from natasha fernz-the mixed terrier. had a dog since i was young, i don't know how do you rate a person as being experienced. definitely not a first time dog owner, if that is what you mean. i'll call you again to speak to you on this again. is that alright with you?

I guess you have kids huh... I am just afraid he might bite... a bit angin lah this dog.
Anyway, I have a poodle mix schnauzer but this dog was just rescued. She is a really sad case. She is about 6 - 8 yrs old, with a lump in her chest... we do not know what it is until her blood test next week. If you think you are willing to care for her for last few years I would love to have her rehome to a truly sincere dog lover. she is a really really good girl. Just want her to die happy. But its not like she is dying now ya. She is very small and cute. think about it. Thanks.

just sent you an sms wrt the doggie. would love to provide her with love and comfortable place till the end of her days. but have some questions:

(1) with her condition, is it ok for her to be around a 3yr old kid?

(2) is she ok with other dogs, i have toto who has a wonderful temperament and would not mind other dogs.

(3) any other special care that she requires?

hmmm...the sms doesn't seem to be going through. any other way i can contact you?

Re: [mbless] Puppy to let go [In reply to] Can't Post

just spoke to chris today. apparently, blush has womb infection as well and is on anti-biotics. hopefully she will recover from that cause she will need to go through surgery if she doesn't recover. anyways, i will probably drop by chris' place this sunday to take a look at her and get her acquainted to me. told chris that while she is away, i'll take her to my vet and see what is his opinion.

wish us luck. and pray that she will be ok so that we do not have to take any drastic action.

hi.. u working this thurs? I have a shih tzu to show you. she is a female and is a very good girl. I think the poodle male may not suit your male dog. this girl would be better. she is not neutered yet so if you like her, I will get her neutered before you collect her. Give me a call if you can... thanks. 012 5175322
