When you say Rex is noisy, what do you really meant? Hound barking is very strong echo and loud, what you could do is correct Rex immediately when it barks unreasonably or else attend to it request. My dogs are quite quiet, except when they are communicating to me (look at me and bark). They bark to me when they want to come inside the house, or want something. I talk to them. They understand actually. Beagle is a very smart dog, and a fast learner.
Anyway, beagle puppy will always mischief for as long as 1 year+. So need to take constant corrective reminder to it. Need lots of patience lor. But I'm very lucky, my beagles' temperament are not hyper type and very easy to train.
After Patches had gone, Whoopy is very sad these few days, we are really sad to see her like that too. So I'm giving her a lot of cuddle and attention to ease her sadness.
In fact we had quite good relationship with my next door neighbour earlier on, but don't know why recently she had gone "angin", anyway she is not an animal lover at all, always say my dog is smelly, eventhough my dog just bathed. My dogs are not noisy, the reason my neighbour complaining is dogs are smelly. Only non-animal lovers can smell that, we animal lover cannot.
