Just wanted to say thanks to all puppy.com members and everybody that turned up and participated for creating a event that was very succesful in my eyes.
Me and my Dobermann Anjali, had lots of fun even though it was such a hot day. Lots of friendly, polite, good people and cute dogs.

As usual, it was a nice and wonderful event. My dogs enjoyed themselves very much eventhough the weather was very hot yesterday. I did registered my dog for games but since the games has been pushed till noon n it was getting really hot, I have to leave it out......if my dogs get heatstroke, I will be in trouble. Abit disappointed about that though .
Overall, it was a good event and give chance for our dogs to socialise with sooo many dogs.

hmmm... posted this in the wrong forum earlier... anyway here's my two cents worth on yesterday's event:
Just to say well done to the Committee on the event yesterday. I thought that everyone did a great job! The three of us had a great time yesterday. Too bad we forgot our camera... Just wondering, is this Central Park usually open to dogs ?
Anyway I think I have to say that there are some doggie owners who were quite irresponsible, cause we were sitting with Cleo under the shade of one of the canopies when suddenly we got a bad smell. Someone's dog had poo-ed and he had just left it there... I was shocked cause we were all given lil plastic bags on registration and we were also given additional bags by some kids, can't remember if they were scouts. So I started fishing for my pastic bag to get rid of it but another chap who was shaking his head got to it first... We also chanced upon a few other bits of "poo" that were left behind and subsequently stomped on by others. That, we thought, was really not nice at all!
Really people we must make sure that we mind our lil doggies and pick up after them. Otherwise how are we going to be able to convince others to accept our doggies in public places. As it is there are so few places that we can take them to, so please don't make the situation worse.
Anyway that's that. But well done to the Committe once again for doing a great job! Looking forward to more events like this...
