Hi,

You sure ar?? I heard AST is under ban list wor... anyway I dont want such a big dog, I want a small to medium size dog. Actually I prefer MBT rather than BT, but anyway it's still the same breed just different in size only...so it's ok ler...

Cheers!

Re: [chyme] Buying a BT [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi chyme... A standard BT is also under the old banned list but not for the MBT, and AST is not a huge dog, it is a medium dog, a bit bigger than standard BT.

Dogs that has being banned by the government DOESN'T means that they are fierce and dangerous, it depends on how you trained them... Do you know that my son bite my AST and ride on her... and she just enjoy playing with my son. AST is not fierce, infact they are very tame. Just treat your dog well and they will be a very good pet even it is Tosa Inu, Tibettan Mastiff, Dogo or what so ever...

The old banned list for dog breeds are; BT, APBT, ASBT, AST, American Bulldog, Tosa Inu, Japanese Akita, Dogo Argentino and Tibettan Mastiff. Restricted breed are Rottweiler, Bull Mastiff and Neopolitan mastiff.

the new banned list that announced recently is for Shah Alam ONLY... but I'm sure it will slowly applicable to other states as well. The weird thing is the new SA banned list do not include BT, and Rottie and NM got prommoted into the banned list.

You should visit Jack_MBT one day and take a look at his Panda (AST), then you will find how cool is this breed.

My friend wish to sell his Standard Bull Terrier, there are 8 pups all together, all white with black patches. White to Normal Marking are selling for RM1600.00 only (very cheap), nice marking to one eye jet is between RM1800.00 to RM2100 male one eye jet RM2300.00. Parents import Australia but thru Thailand... hehehe

Hi Chyme

I am another AST owner, and I have westies too.

I like AST especially those muscler one [have to be trained] with ear croped. They have the look that deter potential intruder without making a noice, they are the protecter to the owner and family and are good pets too.

I have once considered Rottie and Bullmastif who have the same effect, deterrence by appearance, but AST is better choice who is less possessive compared to Rottie and less costly to keep compared to Bullmastif.

Whether it is MBT or BT, for the ppl who is ignorance of dog breed and hold the position to approved law in the local council, they are the same, BT. so both are banned. I like BT too.

Hi,

Hmmm... seems like everyone is trying to brainwash me into liking AST. Actually before this I never really thought much about AST, but since you guys been talking bout it ... I've been paying some attention to AST. Besides BT, I like pug too.... because they look quite flat face... heheh so cute!

Anyway, I had a mix breed (rottie+german sherpard) such a beautiful dog, and he was so obedient, but unfortunately the owner took back.. I had him for 3 years already and the owner took it back. Before that, I had a german sherpard too and before before that I had some other dogs too... too young can't remember already .... and now I have 3 high breed dogs all given by people.

Cheers!

After gone through my message again, found some wording that I am afraid may caused misunderstanding.BlushUnsure

For this sentence, "Whether it is MBT or BT, for the ppl who is ignorance of dog breed and hold the position to approved law in the local council, they are the same, BT."

to rephrase it to refelect what I actually want to say is "For ppl who sit in local council that are ignorance of dog breeds and with the power of approving law, MBT or BT are the same breed." Gramatically not correct but I feel better now.

Hey Chyme...

Normally I don't prefer to buy dogs from Pet Shop (sorry if I step on someones toe), this is due to some irresponsiable petshop that selling poor quality pups and most importantly is we do not have the chance to take a look at the sire and dam.

Will drop by Ikano next month when I go to KL... Chyme, where are you staying by the way? Maybe we can arrange a gathering with Jack_MBT, RealityDreamer, ERN, crazymouse and others...?

Re: [chyme] Buying a BT [In reply to] Can't Post

hi Chyme,
i'm not the 1 mentioned by kevin which is having 16 bt from taiping. i'm raymond from penang but my bt dog farm is in kedah. my farm's website is under construction, sorry. im having 12 bt adults, 7 bt puppies, 5 APBT, 4 AST n 4 english bulldogs.
back to bt, 8 of mine r from russia. male won BEST IN SHOW last yr in bangkok just at the age of 1yr. 1 female won BEST IN SHOW in bangkok last year, 2 BEST RESERVED FEMALE in bangkok also.
bout the minibt u mentioned, just curious, why r u going for mini instead of standard. from what i gained through 18 yrs with bt, minibt doesn't really impressed in physical appearance. when they r puppy, yes but not adult. i had number of minibt before. s'porean will alwiz go for minibt bcoz of the limitation of their living space. the minibt was purposely shrinked down from standard. that's why we r so hard to find adult minibt with huge bones structure n head. when u try to pump him up to the standard of impresive, they become hagging in between mini n standard. nice to share with u.

Hi,

Why do you have a farm of dogs? Do you breed them for shows? You must have a very big compound to have so manydogs. Why are you staying in Pg and your dogs are in Kedah... then you dont get to your dogs very often lor.

The MBT i just saw it from the pet shop, actually I like the standard BT too. Are your bt puppies for sale?

Cheers!
