Hi guys! Here comes another Lab lover...HUGO is over 10 weeks old and hes a heavy pup, already more than 9kg..hehe..not heavy la..hes fat! =) Will definitely update his pic on the web. Hes been with me for more than a month now...hyperactive and lazy sometimes. Loves food and soaking himself wet with water...what else? Can do cool tricks..He can play death. I am hoping to bring him to the olympics but dont think i can cos he hasnt taken his 3rd jab yet. Advice anyone?

Did somebody just mentioned lab? Meet my big fat yellow lab, Kookee aka Pui-Toro the Horror. She's 1 year and 9 mths old, a big bully, compulsive lick-oholic and clocks in at 38kgs. She's currently on diet due to her weight and she's one of the most adorable creature on the the face of the Earth (Anyone would beg to differ here? Tongue

) Oh, Reyyee of the avatar is Kookee's 'punching bag' in dog's world term. Reyyee is a beautiful mongrel with the heart of an angel.

hello victor , nice to meet you here . lol , how fat is fat ? yeah , it's best advised not bring your doggie out when theey havent completed the jabs there . maybe all the lab lovers get together and organize some activities for our babies . is that a bull terrier on your avatar ? maybe you can bring he/she but baby hugo have to stay at home lah . give hugo a nice big squeeze from me yay .

heh nancy , i cant imagine what if we put fala and kookee together , afterall my lab not-so-lab anymore , she is a slight smaller size than some labs from what i perceived . she stands at 20kgs now at 8 months , more or less . Crazy

38kgs , like putting 2 falas together , am going to clone one now .

Hi Simchi, well he's plump laa...not so fat. But my whole family calls him "fei chai" haha. Nearing 10kgs actually but not too tall yet cos hes only 10wk+. Remembered seeing his dad like a month back, huge boy. Hope he turns out something like him. =) Btw, I gave him a big big hug already

The pitbull isnt mine, initially wanted to get one but my parents didnt really supported that. Theyre too mean and can be quite dangerous if not carefully brought up. Hugo is already that hard to handle(hes quite obedient most of the time, but if u start playing with him, he goes crazy!), what will happen if i get a pit rite?

Cant find the cable for my cam..so no pictures yet. Will update soon..have fun guys!

I weighed my girl one month ago and the scale said 21kgs , that was when she's having 3 meals a day(about 5 cups) , now she's having a meal aday and defnitely shrunk abit (the tummy there) . A little sturdy now + she's more or less 8 months old . I am a sucker for big dogs because I feel very secured with their existance and yeah cuddly . I even look up on pictures from another Lab forum which has the majority of westerners and their giant labs which is as heavy as 135lbs !!! This is actually double the standardized weight lor . Did so research and read a little bit here and there , it's almost perfect to have your baby at around 55lbs to 75lbs because of health wise .

Whenever dog breeds like the rottweiler , bull terriers and any guardian dogs cross my mind , part of me says O bcause I dont know how to train them properly but they are so tempting to have Crazy

. Never regret after settled down with my fala though . Heh , Hugo goes crazy ? Runs up and down like a bullet train eh and jumps on the sofa ? Some photos action please !!!

Hi again. Well it also depends whether your lab is the show or game breed too. Normally game breed are bred to be lighter in weight, have longer legs and snout, whereas showbreed has a larger bone structure, big head and chest, broad body and short legs. Think hugo is more to the show type, hope so, I dont like skinny dogs =)

Ill be getting the digicam cable soon, maybe this weekend. Then ill post some pictures. Nola he doesnt jump up the sofa, well..he tried but sofa is still abit high for him. He starts biting and jumping all over the place when he goes crazy..and sometimes bark too...

His weight:

6 weeks - 3.5kg 7 weeks - 4.5kg

8 weeks - 5.5kg 9 weeks - 7kg

10 weeks - 8.5kg 11 weeks(now) - 9.5kg

Id be happy with anything more than 35kg when he reaches adulthood

Guys, any recommendation on the supplement? Im currently giving him calcium and multi vitamin pills...is that sufficient?

Hmmmm....in that case, my fat yellow lab should be for show-show one. She fits your description to the dot. Fat wide body, short legs, large bone. I have to agree with you here, I also dislike skinny dog but unfortunately, I have negatively translate my phobia into a fat dog. On Natasha of Cleo recommendation, I have started Kookee on Oxyfresh, a type of antioxidant and Vit C, 2 each respectively. Purebreed is bloody high maintenance (pardon my language!)

I saw Kookee's picture at the gallery, she looks great. Doesnt look as if shes overweight. Ask her to wait for my Hugo laa...then big boy oredi we can ehem ehem them haha.

Got pissed off with Hugo this morning. Hes what we chinese say "Yeen Sat"
He only does his tricks when he sees food. Think my mum has been feeding him really tasty snacks eg. chocolate cookies, jelly etc without asking him to do anything, pampered him too much.
Ill make sure from today onwards, he will work for whatever that goes into his stomach! =)

Ummm....do you know that chocolate is poisonous to dog? Large dosage into puppy would be fatal...you better let your mum know that. Better still, bring him to the vet for a checkup to make sure no damage is done. I AM SERIOUS!!! I suppose the vet can recommend charcoal tablet to counter the poison.

Ehem, ehem, ehem, them? Cannot already lor.....Kookee kena spayed already ler!!!! hahahahahahah! But admittedly, Kookee has quite striking feature. She got that face that would launch thousand ships...heheheheheh! Her godmum was so obsessed with her pretty eyes and her chubbiness.

Um...you have to see her in person, then only you realise how BIG she is. To help you to visualise it, I can put stuff on top of her back and the thing wouldn't fall even when she moves or walks normal lah. Now, you need a really wide and flat top for that, and that's my Kookee lah. From front view, you can see her whole body, you know, with her head in the centre...see to believe lah....hahahahhahahahah!

And stop the choc cookies....gawd! You are murdering Hugo! 'yeen sat' ker? Normal lor. Reyyee is liked that one but Kookee, she ok with anything edible and non-edible.

eh .. fala is not that tall , and not that broad ..lean body i must say , nice boobs and cute butt .

she's now on eukanuba , might change to science plan though.. and I gave her calcium which is recommended by the vet . and i'll only get to take her photos and weigh her this weekend or monday !!! yay .

wow aparently we have many young labbies here :) hello akyou .. maybe you can resize the pictures then we all can have some eye-candy :) hungry then bark ? my girl will follow me everywhere i go , even taking a dump in the toilet or shower time if not she will whine outside of the toilet :/ she very cute lah !!! heh . she only barks when she is in a the cage seeing me walking around ..but according to my family she doesnt bark when am not home even if she's in the cage . so yeah , what's your baby's name ?

Awwww...supermodel spec....boobs and butt, might make it if got mile long legs. Btw, aren't you on Bill Jac? Aiyah, I tell you ar....I regretted changing Kookee's Eagle Pack to California Formula-lah. Now, still clearing up the mess ler. Confirmed she can only take Eagle Pack brand. As a matter of fact, just came back from pet shop after doing some shopping for doggies food. Finally, got her the Eagle Pack fish meal. By the way, I checked out the price of Oxyfresh from this particular petshop and as outside sell RM55, they sell at RM50. So definitely would be getting from them after this lah.

Aiyayah! Talk about photo, long time I didn't take furkids pix but since weather good today, might do it after this, hahahahah!

I suspected that Grace may not be in the country anymore or that she's too caught up with something real BIG to not come to the forum anymore. I MIA last couple of months for the same reason lah.

Oxyfresh not yet see result but hey, the tauke-neoh of the petshop I went earlier on said that there's another brand better than Oxyfresh. It's antioxidant and supplement for joints all roll in one. She would be receiving the product this month end and ask me to check it out once they arrive. Price? Dun know yet but she said they are reasonable. So, wait for my update lah.

Reyyee's big? I wish Kookee can give Reyyee the 8 extra kgs which she is supposed to shed. But that of course, would make Reyyee extremely overweight also. Reyyee is still at the healthy level of 24 - 25 kgs. Reyyee is not really big and according to Mr. Vet, just rightly proportionate.

heh , she has 3 boyfriends now . LMAO . and a dobe and a rottie actually faught over her left the rottie with an injured upper and lower eye-lids !!! too bad the beagle is gone ( one cute little fella there ) . she is coming home tomorrow or monday , cant wait missed her terribly .

yeap , Nancy , she was on Bil.Jac , but her fur colour changed into darker hue after taking it for 3 months or so ...I myself prefer cream/creamer colour , so I changed it back to Eukanuba (the breeder used to feed her) , smelly poo(still can tolerate) , but shedding exceedingly , too much protein i guess , thought of changing it to Scient Plan cause it has lesser protein ...but might as well stick back to Eukanuba . let me know about the progression after taking the oxyfresh ya . by the way are you feeding kookee and reeyee with calcium ? *whisper* eh your reeyee is the best looking mutt on earth !!!

Dun know.....just what I thought lah. Let just hope that she would resurface or else, she's missing out on a lot of fun here.

Yeah, I think it is essential to have supplement but in my case, it is necessary for internal health, not too much on cosmetic side. I believe their choice of food play a big role. Similar to human lah. We are what we eat. Oh I see now.....but my vet said Reyyee is just ok, not too big or too small. I wish she can be a bit bigger and heavier, ideally around 28kgs instead of her 23/4kgs now. She's a bit on the light side compare to Kookee so Kookee can easily knock her over. And Kookee is an incorrigible BULLY.
