My holidays ok lor... CNY got little bit angpow, not much also, cos old liao. Hahahahaha! Valentine also ok lor. Went to salon and my hairstylist freaking leng chai! I almost "lau hau sui"... Want to bring him home to admire but scared his mommy come cari me.

Stan... Please change some stuff. Graeme and Annie just lost Neesa. Let's put the plans on hold till they have come to terms with their recent lost... Unimpressed

Anyway, we put on hold our plans first lah. Unless we have another place, somewhere, then we proceed lor, but at the time, only have Graeme and Annie's place, so must freeze the plans. Still, those who would wanna join in, should list down names and contributions.

Yeah... Neesa was their new baby... Teebo's baby sister. I was chatting with Graeme yesterday and he said that was some complications in the little baby and she was in the hospital. However, suddenly, Annie called him from the hospital and told him that Neesa passed away cos of lung infection (there was a name for it, but I can't recall right now...).

Anyway, our condolences and support to Graeme, Annie and Teebo starts here lah. Let's start a post for our shared sadness for them. Hopefully, they'll feel bit better that we are here in their time of grief...

ps. please come to the gathering also. No doggie also nevermind. You can babysit. Tongue

Your recent loss of Neesa is very much felt by us, shih tzu lovers. Maybe it's incomparable, but we share your pain over the passing of little Neesa. Here's an original poem for you. We hope it will help in coping with the loss.

Despite the short time you were with us,

You didn't hesitate to show love and trust;

Your loss burns a hole in our hearts,

Little Neesa, you gave us marks;

Your love pure as it can be,

May your spirit now be free.

Our condolences to you:

Yah... very impossible... now waiting for my gerbil to go into labour to watch her first birth loh.... so exciting lah... but this new mum is so hyper.... but has a big tummy ahhaha.... Sigh.. forever a slave that's why cannot go holiday loh... not enough staff hahahaha...

Wu... this Sunday ah? Dunno wor... Have to see first heheh... coz tomorrow, Friday and Saturday busy like bee so dunno Sunday would be free or not... I'll update you later ah?

Annie and I bought Teebo alittle playmate.

As Annie and I want to go back to New Zealand in about a years time to live and we already own "Teebo" coming up a year now, we thought that a buddy for Teebo would be a cool idea. Annie does alot of driving around for her work and one day she came across this little pet store that was clean and tidy with only around 3 or 4 well kept puppies in it. She imediately fell in love with a female shih tzu pup and dragged me down there to have alook. What could I do?...(*throws hands up in the air*)...they both had similar looks on their faces...(the pup) "please please take me home with you"...(Annie) "Can we please please take this puppy home with us". I knew that I shouldnt have done it...at the time...but there you go...I threw reason out the window and within a hour we were driving home with a 3 and a half month old shih tzu puppy, whom, we that nite named, "Neesa"

At this point I should tell you how I came across names like Teebo and Neesa. After getting Teebo I sent a digi pic by Email to a friend in NZ and the reply that came back was..."OMG, so cute, and he looks like an "Ewok". EWOKS???...does anyone remember ewoks?....yeah...thats right...those vicious, cute little furry things from a star wars movie. So I searched ewoks and agreed that infact they do look alot like them. So Teebo and Neesa were suitably named.

I should also say that, after buying Teebo at "Ikano pet safari" he came down with Kennel cough imediately...and I must say that "pet safari" cured him and paid for expenses. At this time I was reading the forums and had learnt about "puppy mills" and the dangers of buying pets from stores and I should have learnt my lesson.........I didnt.

Fast forward (not qiute 2 weeks)...Neesa seems a normal Tzu pup and after alittle bit of... maybe Jellousy on the part of Teebo, they become great friends and are always playing together. As I say...Neesa seemed perfectly normal and would run around (always indoors) and I never really thought much of the fact that she didnt have alot of stamina in her...she would run around for alittle while and then flop down on the floor "panting"...so???...its hot here...if I run around I tend to flop down on the floor...couch...bed...anything closest as well. Anyway...Annie calls me at work 3 nites ago a says Neesa is sick. The day before she had developed alittle cough and as I had heard Teebo coughing with keenel cough it was no where near like that and so I didnt worry about it too much.........turns out I should have been very worried about it!

I get home from work and Neesa has a high tempreture (41C) and doesnt even wag her tail or raise her head to greet me. We decide to straight away take her to the KL animal hospital where she is given 2 shots...one to lower her temp....and one big dose of antibiotics. We are advised to leave her there so she can be monitored through the nite. Next morning the Surgen, Doctor Siva, calls us and says her temp has come down but there is still a problem and he wants more time to work out whats wrong with her. Siva takes x-rays and to his shock discovers that one of Neesa's lungs turns out to be completely white in the x-ray and is saturated with fluids...Neesa's lungs are only working on about 25% capacity, he tries desperately to drain/clear the fluids and operates on her.

Annie gets a call from him alittle later in the afternoon to say that Neesa has passed on. We both go to KL animal clinic where Doc. Siva tells us that he is now fairly sure that Neesa has had a problem that has been there at least a month and a half...he says that she probably developed it and was treated with lots of antibiotics and then we can only guess that either they thought they had fixed the problem...or didnt care and sold the puppy on to the pet shop owner(he had only had the pup 2 or 3 weeks before we saw it)...what ever Neesa did not have any x-rays to prove she was not still sick. that evening Annie and I went straight to the pet shop owner to tell him about what had happened. Doc. Siva is preparing a report and we will send a copy to the pet shop owner. Its not about the money.......the money will not bring back Neesa...but I thought the pet shop owner needed to know about this situation in case any of his other pups have a similar problem. I will not name this pet shop as he does not have the report yet...and I will wait to see what he is going to do about it. I know we should not have bought Neesa from a pet store...the thing is...people do buy baby animals from pet stores and this is not going to change quickly. I do not wish to end this post on a sour note.


For acouple of weeks Neesa...licked...sqirmed...wriggled...snuggled...and wagged her tail (like some sort of helicopter)...into our hearts...and Graeme, Annie, and Teebo will dearly miss her.

Uhhh... so sorry lah... Sunday I got meeting loh.... but how leh? I still have your birthday gift hehehe....

Oh... just bought a pair of lovely mice... found the colour I've been looking for which is a black and tan.... but a faulty colour and not standard markings but this might be the only mouse with this gene coz I have not seen this for 4 years... will breed her to produce quality black and tans hahaha... me gila gila lohCrazy

Was supposed to go to meet up with Graeme yesterday but he not there. I went to The Curve to check it out (wa liao! didn't know a murder case happened on the same day I went The Curve wei! Freaky coincidence. Lucky my timing is later than the incident!), so thought I'd meet up with him also, but he not there. I think they should be feeling a bit better liao lah... They have our support also mah...

If I like you, mother (Hubburd! Tongue) of so many babies, I think I will permanatly be chi mah kan... Lucky, with BB, only part time chi sin only... Hahahaha!

This Sunday busy. No problem. There's always another day... Hmmm... If Stan's ok, I wanna bring BB to his place so that Snowy and BB can play play together. They need to socialise (not for hamsap reasons lah! Tongue). You wanna come? ONLY IF Stan's busy schedule permits BB and Snowy's playtime lah... I only kuli and succumb to his timetable...
