For those wishing to come along to my place for a little Tzu party...there has been a developement ...just recently...(in the last 2 or 3 weeks)...over this fairly long hot dry season we seem to be having in KL...my lawn has become infested with tics...and both my Tzus have had a big problem with them...I have had to resort to drastic measures to sort them out and have treated them both with "front-line", which is pretty strong and I wouldnt normally have done it...but I hate those little blood sucking tic thingys.

I am going to get my pest control man to spray over the lawn some stuff he might be able to recomend to me...so I thought I had better let you people know whats happening...and if you have any suggestions...please do not hesitate to let me know...I'll let you know later if the solution has worked well enough to be able to let your wonderfull fur-kidds come along and have some fun together............cheers Graeme

Aiyo, sorry to hear that about your tortoise, i know it has been quite a long time story now but i just read this and seldom online nowadays especially cny, off for 1 week...

I lost 1 of my tortoise 2 years ago which we kept for more than 5 yrs already... i'm so shock when i heard from my mom that our Small-small not moving in the toilet so i quickly rush and pick small-small up and see, she is not breathing anymore, then my tears flow automatically non-stop... weirdo... so now left her sister called Big-big with us, very very big now....

Anyway, cheer up and happy CNY

Oh, better just spray the font line on the grass. The pest control poison might be strong and may cause difficulties in dogs if they ingest it.... The most natural way to get rid of the ticks is don't let our dogs eat beef, put a bit of raw garlic into their food every other day and get live chickens to eat up the ticks..... funny advice but it works for me....

Thanks... I'm doing fine now and so is my Mango... she is back to her old self but I think she misses a companion.... anyway.... I will wait to see what happens... if possible, would like to get a healthy male and mate her with it to get some baby torts.... very rare to get star tort breeders in malaysia...

Date: 19th March 2005 (Sat), Time: 12.30pm (*to be confirmed), Venue: Enzzy's palace

Let's start collecting names for the party. Everyone is welcome to join. Costs is to be shared by everyone. Food list will be announced later.

Attendance:

1) Enzzy, wife + 2 shih tzu's
2) Esther + bb
3) Stanley + Snowy

Directions to Enzzy's palace:

Take the LDP, go past 1 utama and ikea. Then you will reach the toll. Take the first turning on the left, after the toll plaza. Then go all the way straight, and turn left. Then go straight and you will see a row of shops on your left. After the row of shops, turn left and then immediately turn right. After that, take the first turning on the left and search for house Number 30, some where at the end of the road.

But I seriously dun think that can ever happen lah! So many babies at home, how lah, you can un-slave yourself?? Would be an impossible attempt, so you memang have to live with the fact that you'll always have to be a 'hamba' (tanpa gaji also!) to all your pooches, your cat, your rabbit, your gerbils, your rat, your tarantula, your tortoise and your bird. Hahahahaha! Even hamsters that you babysit also you must be 'hamba' for them ler!

Now back to work liao...

But good thing I leave end of the month.
