Fun time with our furkids again !!! in the wilderness ! ROUND 16 !!!
NOTE : Do put your dogs to be on-leash at all times & Pick up after your dogs poo.
Date : June 26th, 2004
Meeting Venue : Taman Pendidikan Bukit Gasing
Time : 7.30 am

Direction 1 :
From Padang Merbok’s roundabout use the way towards Telekom. After driving passed Telekom on your left you will see a row of shoplot and signboard of a restaurant called “Lotus”. Just before Lotus Restaurant, on your right, you will see a Chinese Temple and there is a junction. Turn right. After turning do go all the way straight for about 200 – 300 meter and there should be a playground of some sort and you can park your cars there. There should be a signboard that says : Tmn Pendidikan Bukit Gasing.
Direction 2 :
Beside the Lasalle School, there is the Raju Restaurant – go straight all the way up and you will reach a T junction. At the T junction do turn to your right and go all the way straight you should be able to see the playground.
Things to take note of :
1. Dogs have to be on leash/harness on all times. 2. Please pick up after our furkids poo. 3. Bring plastic bags 4. Bring water for human n for furkids 5. Wear stockings 6. Have a good pair of walking shoe or sneakers. 7. One dog per person is highly recommended as it’s a real jungle trail. 8. Don’t wear too short a shorts if you are afraid of being scratch by the bushes and donating blood to the mozzy ya ! ;)

Hello!!
Hey, I'm dogless too! Been out trekking with the trekking kakis without a dog for quite a bit. No worries, you'll have fun seeing the owners puffing and panting like their furkids (minus the saliva!) !!
Besides, you can help babysit by holding the dogs on the leash while the owners poo-pick! OR..you can do the poo-picking!!

do come and join in the fun ya ! at times when I'm too lazy i dun bring the doggies out with me too but rare lar nowdays. the gathering is open for dog loves with or without doggies so dun worry abt being left out la. there is a few who join without doggies too
fyi, we are all there for the fun, meeting up with each another and playing with other's doggies. So join us ya !

when u reach there.. not need to worry.. u sure can see ppl with doggies one... juz join them.. gekekekkee... normally we will be standing in a group in front of Hutan Pendidikan Bukit Gasing entrance or a house there - which is juz opposite the hutan...

Is it in front of any house just opposite a wooden arch (Hutan Pendidikan Bukit Gasing Entrance)? I thought the house belongs to someone we know... Anyway, it's better to wait in front of a house than at the hutan...hehehe... mosquitoes sure love...haha!

Yeah, lots of members think that I own a dog but the dog in the avatar is actually my sister's dog. Can't own a dog at the moment coz of work commitments and lack of space in my apartment.

Ming Yang, mind if i ask which trail we're goin dis wk?I do hope it's d trail we went during round 14, wer dogs get 2 play n drink fm d stream half way thru, both owners n dogs gets 2 rest. D trail lasted an hr, which i think is ngam ngam ho. I'll bring Max whenever we're goin dis trail.
I find last wk's trail a bit too challenging n long especially d 2nd part cos i gotta lead my buffalo n prevent spiky veins at d same time up d slippery n steep trail. I dun think i'm capable of controlling max thru dis trail again, i might come alone then

Welcome... 9 month old shud be okay... just make sure your furkid is on a leash... we have as young as 4 months on the track... I'll be bringing my 4 months miniature schnauzer(RuYi) too... RuYi is also not well trained yet... hehehe ... so we can be in the same boat... don't worry... come and have fun !!!

Hey! Is RuYi used to being on the leash? Scruff acts all funny when he's on the leash. Quite funny to watch! Just scared that I'd have to carry him while I 'attempt' to trek!

Hehehe ... It'll be RuYi's first time on leash... so if its the same for your Scruff, then we are in it together... I'm only gonna get the harness actually for RuYi tonite... I prefer the harness than collar coz collar tend to chock them when we pull too hard... then poor furkid will be coughing all the way ...
So do pls come and join us... you'll be suprise how good your Scruff can actually be in the nature... my bf and I brought Duchess(our GR) for the first time last week and we were truely in awe of how well she took to the treck... we were prepared that she will not walk all the way but looks like we underestimated her ability afterall ... so dun worry too much... even if Scruff do decide to take a human ride, there are many friends there who wil be willing to help out ... come along and have fun!!!

I sprained my ankle last week. Really missed you all lah for 3 weeks liow. And now I can't go for at least a month. Fifi thought I was bringing her last Sat cause I left house early at 6:30am but I left for Tmn Rimba Ampang. She was jumping but felt sad when I left without her.

this is me this morning... woke up early to get ready... mana tau all my gang cannot go... Tiger KO coz went drinking last nite kesian hang over this morning ... he called me this morning say cannot get out of bed... then I called my brother, he also KO coz of football I guess... my Timmy sommore go to work ... so so me no wheels to get me there...

never mind lor... next week sure try to go lor. I won't be going for 3 - 4 weekends trekking coz i got work-related roadshow and will be back to KL only mostly on friday night dunno whether go strength to join the next morning or not.
so next time only i play with ruyi ok. see u guys in about 3-4 weeks time !

Thanks for joining us *finally* at our round 16 which makes it really really memorable ! I hope the trek didn't tire you too much esp since you gotto carry Ron some of the time coz Ron didn't want to walk anymore.
wonder if anyone manage to capture any pics of Ron or not since Ron is sooo cute ! long time didn't see both of you though... so, any plans of joining us again ? or did the carrying Ron scares you ? hehehe.... btw, that was definitely not our usual trek but as everyone was tired after the 1st trek that's why we didn't bother thinking of going for the 2nd trek at the usual stream which is really nice.
Do join us again ya ! the next few trek geraldine, Fion or Pei Shy will pick up from where I stop and lead the way.... (with or without Surind)

Hi all,
I'm really really really sorry coz din manage to go for the trekking especially to Maryanne and Kaori.
Went drinkin with colleagues after work. Thought can survive the next mornng. Mana tau , it got worse in the end. Vomitted and diarrhea in the middle of the nite. The whole day after that(sat), was lying down on the bed and have ask my housemates to feed Piper.
realy realy sory ya...will try to make it in 2 weeks time coz on July 3 and 4 i'm goin to genting. Richie Ren concert. hehehehe so c ya guys the week after next if possible

yalor, max fought wit egon, sooooo paiseh
compared 2 his 1st hike(round 14), he didn't really behaved well during d last hike, i think he felt a bit threatened cos all dogs in round 15 all BIG BIG 1 while he was d KING during round 14
