Hi everyone,
Here's a beagle poem by Henry J.Colombo for all beagle owners:
Sound Advice
If you are feeling blue, old man,
And your spirit is getting down
My advice to you is this,
Get yourself a beagle hound.
Then when you come home at night
He will wag his tail in greeting
The things that he would like to say,
Are well worth while repeating.
And though he really cannot talk,
He knows when things are amiss,
If he could but speak the words,
They probably would sound like this.
"Please don't feel so blue, old man,
I know you are tired and weary,
Take me out to the woods tonight,
And I will try to make it cheery.
"Let's go down to the old brush lot,
Where the rabbits romp and play,
And there I will do my best,
To drive your blues away."
And so you take your little friend,
Off to the woods you go,
He trotted so merrily ahead,
You trudged behind so slow.
At last you reach the wooded spot,
And "Pal" starts nosing around,
He soon will have a bunny up,
You can tell just by the sound.
At first it may only be a squeal,
But I'm sure it wont be long,
Before he opens loud and clear,
With that merry beagle song.
He'll drive that bunny far and wide,
At a fast and furious pace,
For he wants to cheer his master,
With this hard and thrilling chase.
If red blood courses through your veins,
You'll forget your world's cares,
For this is just the sort of chase,
That answers a beagle's prayers.
Your face will lose that constant frown,
You replace it with a smile,
And when this thrilling hunt is o'er,
Life again will seem worth while.
I see a new gleam in your eye,
As down to "Pal" you bend,
And the merry little beagle
Has made another lifelong friend.
You ask me how I know all this?
And why I give this advice so free?
The same thing happened to someone else
And that someone else was ME.

. I will only be bringing Snuffy to the gathering as Archie is still too young. Your coco is so so cute, should consider grom her up for dog show..

but I just have to get my mom to agree. I read a lot about Beagles though, they seem like the BEST dogs EVER! 
. It'll be fun with 3 beagles in the group. From first impression, the trainer sounds good...also very friendly and approachable. That's what I really look for in a trainer because he/she can either demoralise you

ya la..don need 50k to buy a beagle but need 1.5k from the 50k to buy a beagle ma......and we got to buy 2 beagles....1 is for my fren...1 is for myself....now no more .... how sad..... have to go everywhere (pet shop) to look at the beagle, to console myself.....
muahahahahahaaa.......ohmybeagle~~~~u r so good...and so kind/~~~~actually the result was out yesterday...and my fren won the gold prize..got 10k...however....unfortunately....very dramaticaly....donno is it the God don wan to give me a beagle or what.....my fren has to use the 10k as his father's operation fee....and i was so upset....i have been waiting for 2 months..i guess...to get my beagle.....and now...all my hopes have fallen into the deep deep valley...
