Re: [MalsInOz] 2004 Australain Nationals [In reply to] Can't Post

Evan,

Thanks, Now I understand. I think for better or for worse we have to look at it in an open minded manner. Dogs are bred and then tested in a number of their drives to arise at the ultimate....these simple words itself will open an ocean or interpretation. Owners can put their dogs to whatever discipline they want according to their interest and desires. As long as sub titles are not taken as license to pass them off as super dogs for breeding should be ok.

Many categories of people, Some would want only OB, some would want to compete Schh under club level and some want to go ahead in the world class competition. Only with interest and time they put in will assure them in their own chosen goals. This being the case, open mindedly, I would say that this is opportunity to bring dog enthusiast together. Along the way who knows, may unearth some good talents to go seriously in world class SchH.

Of course people with SchH as their goals and having good dogs for the work surely will be top of the list wherever and whenever....Laugh

Thanks for listing down the stats for us. Wow you are very well informed about this in OZ. I think you are very into SchH just by looking at the written details. My compliments to you. Dont worry about expectation, we will be happy if we have 1/2 of what you already have.

The seminar u mentioned, do you know if they will charge for participation? How is the cost like? If we are going might as well join in the fun.

"...The seminar u mentioned, do you know if they will charge for participation? How is the cost like? If we are going might as well join in the fun...."

The seminars held by the National Judge each year are subsidised by the AUSC so they usually cost just AU$50 per day. Some seminars may go for two or three days but it looks like 2004 may just be one day.

Evan,

If we can put together something from here, would you be able to confirm some seats for us in the seminar? We need a point man to help us in this.

No problem at all PSD. Numbers are usually not an issue at any of our seminars and I don't think this one will be any different.

Regardless of what happens - further down the track if some of you guys do decide to make the trip I will ensure you're able to attend the seminar and any other open events/functions that may be offered.

I'm sure our organisation will be very happy to welcome you our sports friends from Malaysia.

Regards,

Evan

Wow! Evan, you are so kind. Makes us feel like superstars......TongueWinkLaugh

Guys,

U saw it, u read it, u feel it.......so anymore participation? Boon, u can go visit some labs and goldens there too for activities.Smile

Perhaps even pick a pup or two for the travel back.....Wink.I hope to see some Czech's dog in action. Is Darez Gerodonu participating? Kris should be a somebody in OZ especially when talking about dogs. I hope the owner's of dogs like Dark Gaja Nova and and Warkos Anrebri are putting them to work and not just stand for stud. They would be very serious dog on the protection phase.

PSD,
you sounded like going to attend the seminar, are you? maybe you'll be our "representative" to be there and bring back a "VCD" for meTongueWink
Honestly, I'm quite lost in this discussion section. Found it hard to understand the real picture of SchH. This is a "must see yourself" thingy, wish I could see the real Trial and that would definitely clear off my clouds. Well~ at least some "motion pictures" from VCD is better than pure reading hereTongue, i'm just not "talented" enough to learn all these from forumCrazy

Yup the monster mud crab is something unforgetable in Ausie. Must have a small dinghy and crab pots to do that and I know the best spot where huge monsters congregates Tongue ........actually OZ crabs made me not look at Malaysian crabs the same way ever again ....... spoilt myself....lol.
