Oh lovely! I was just about to post up Amber's hip x-ray photo. Since you brought up this issue all over again, I scanned the x-ray taken few weeks back before Amber was bred so that I can PROVE to you & others that Amber does not have HD. I don't even know WHY I have to prove this kind of thing to you (who are you anyway?) but I guess it's because I am sick & tired of hearing people accusing us of breeding our b*tch with hip problems.
Yes, I will not deny that I have mentioned that Amber has HD two years ago but then again, I was young & very ignorant then. She had an x-ray test at the age of 6 months old & the doctor said that either her left or right hip was not fully in her socket but he assured us that it is not HD. He pulled both her hind legs to see if she's in any sort of pain & even touched the side of her hips & said they are perfectly straight. At 6 months of age, you cannot prove/guarantee that a dog has hip problems. Only at the age of 2 years, you can. That is the reason why reputable breeders do a series of health testing to their dogs at the age of 2 years or onwards.
If Amber really does have serious genetic faults that she could have passed on to her pups, we would not have bred her. We are not that irresponsible or stupid. If you look at the x-ray taken in 2009 at the age of 3 plus, her hips are absolutely normal.
