Test before consuming Heartgard

Hello!Im asking this for my fren as I hv no idea abt this too..izzit ok if we feed heardgard to an adult dog without any vet-check as there's no worm in the poo or other symthoms..btw..her dog is 3 years+ Blush

btw..how much is the blood-test?
